Hello there, Here are some reasons you may be having issues with your battery or charger: Recovery mode. If the battery has been stored with little to no charge for a long period of time, the charger will go into recovery mode, which will take 20 hrs to fully charge the battery. This will enhance the life of the battery. Once it is fully charged, the next charge will return to standard charging. False defect readings. This can occur if the charger has been left plugged into the outlet. Simply unplug the charger, wait one minute, plug the charger back in and try to reinsert the battery. If you are still experiencing a red flashing light, unplug the charger again, move it to a different location, plug the charger back in and reinsert the battery. Battery too warm. If the battery was recently used or too warm it will not charge. Allow it to cool before attempting to recharge. Battery alignment. Battery misalignment is a common issue that can occur. It's easy to incorrectly align the battery and not realize it. Check to make sure there are no gaps and that the battery and charger are correctly seated.
