Perky-Pet 5107-4 Universal Bird Feeder Pole

This has worked out very well to hang a bird feeder from. I installed the round base piece onto a stump by drilling holes and screwing it in with a power drill. Then I assembled the pole and placed the bracket on the end, and placed the pole in the base. So, a very simple install for what I wanted to accomplish.

This is a great feeder pole for tall hanging bird feeders. I use a squirrel baffle along with a tall feeder, and the shepherd-hook style feeders I've tried are not tall enough to accommodate them both with sufficient distance from the ground (cause we all know squirrels will jump over a baffle if it isn't far enough from the ground).I've used this pole in the past and was glad to find them here for a much better price than most other feeder poles. It is sturdy, doesn't rust, is easy to set up, and comes with a hanging-feeder hook as well as pedestal-style feeder hardware.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE QUALITY OF THE POLE , VERY EASY TO ASSEMBLE, VERY QUICKLY SET UP... MY ONLY REASON FOR NOT GIVING THIS ITEM 5 STARS IS THE FACT THAT THEY MADE THE BIRD HOUSE CONNECTION. AND THE FEEDER HANGER, OUT OF PLASTIC. THEY SUPPLIED GOOD SCREWS BUT THE PLASTIC WORRIES ME, I'M AFRAID IT WILL CRACK BY NEXT SEASON.. SINCE THE BIRD HOUSE IS HEAVY PINE.THE POLE IS VERY TALL, AND STURDY...THE VERY BEST I'VE SEEN FOR THE PRICE. BUT PLASTIC SHOULD NOT BE USED ON THE HOLDERS AND HOUSE CONNECTER.

I've used these poles in the past as well because they do the job right. They're easy to install, are well made, and are the perfect height to hang my feeders which discourages the squirrels!

I bought two of these in order to solve a problem of the deer getting into the feeder. Since this is in sections, I was able to connect 2/3rds of the second set to the first one making the pole well over 7 ft above ground. I sank a bit more than normal into the ground to add stability. This was high enough to keep the deer from getting to the feeder. I also have some "unstable" large stones below to the feeder to discourage a deer from standing on their hind legs to their full height. We recently sustained 45 mph wind gust and the pole was strong enough to resist the wind.

The overall idea is nice, but when I received it and the delivery was real slow, the parts were really cheap, the top mount to hold the platform was made of plastic, no way would that last, had to buy another top mount from somebody else to use this product. Also as soon as I tried to get the plastic tube in the ground it broke, again cheap parts. I suggest another product or if they would upgrade their cheap parts, but there is no way of telling unless you ask. I did send the seller this info and they did not respond.

I have ordered 6 this year. I use them to help support my Bamboo fence. The height is just right. They work well in my yard because I have black soil that when dry holds the pole in the ground like concrete. I thought about going to the plumbing store to buy poles but with a small car and long working hours, it was easier to buy these poles from amazon. All of them were in perfect shape. I like the fact that if I want to store them anywhere, I can because they come in 3 pieces.

Great for my bird feeders. I set the posts in concrete since I put my bird feed(s) on top of the pole and they tend to move back and forth. The bird poles and attachment(s) are very good for the money. lf you are looking for something to hang you feeders on this will work great. Excellent product!Ridiculously easy to install, great height so squirrels and cats will not disturb the birds. Squirrels CANNOT climb it and cannot really stay on top of it. No baffle required so far. Great material quality as well. It has a soothing non-reflective color, blends in greatly with my yard. I am extremely surprised and considering a second one to replace another feeder pole I have.I did not use the mount for wooden house, but it comes with all screws necessary. It is a no-work, max return product.

These are good and strong, and seem to support our heavy bird feeder even in strong winds. It was easy to pit the pieces together and fix the base in the ground. The hanging piece for the feeder works well. It was maybe a bit expensive, but is a quality item.

Très facile à monter et à poser. Convient très parfaitement pour pendre de la nourriture pour les oiseaux. On peut aussi , à priori y mettre une planche pour poser une cabane .
