50-Inch Class A6 Series 4K UHD Smart Google TV with Alexa Compatibility, Dolby Vision HDR, DTS Virtual X, Sports & Game Modes, Voice Remote, Chromecast Built-in (50A6H)

This TV is quite lite for its size and has a very good picture from straight on , that is based on only 13 days is service so durability is not yet known. The sound is useable in a 24 by 14 room but I have attached it to a high end sound system so its not applicable. The fiber optic audio out works fine. The remote does not make it easy to get around the channels but that is true of google TV on its own, not necessarily the TV. The TV has many options and some are hard to find or depend on other settings which are not clear, but the basics are very easy to set up. I have voice remote but the instructions tell of a switch under the tv to set for hands free, and it doesn't exist. Over all an excellent value for a TV this size and cost ($399 when I bought it). On other note the TV does not have a standard RCA jack for video in which may affect hook up of an older DVD player. The TV does not come with a printed users manual and the content is to long and complicated for the electronic version to be helpful. That should be corrected but I assume is a cost cutting factor. The view deteriorates fairly quickly jf viewed from an angle, but remains useable. I am very pleased with the TV overal. Now if it lasts its great. I don't use the TV for gaming so the rating would have been NA if that was available

I have been very happy with my Hisense TV - I don't even know how to use half of what it's capable of doing, but the picture is clear, bright and it connects to my home wifi easily without a problem. If there is a problem it's not the TV it's my sketchy wifi provider?! Anyone else? I've truly enjoyed my purchase and I'm looking to replace my living room TV...and I'm focusing on Hisense products because of the great experiences I've enjoyed.

I used this to replace a 40" Samsung 1080p TV to get the 4K experience out of the PS5. I am no TV expert but the image quality to me is excellent. I tested with a UHD bluray via PS5 and it was exceptional. It does support a lot of features, however a couple of the settings and menus only appear when content that support them are playing. I learned of this via tech steves youtube videos. The google based interface is fast and snappy. I primarily use Netflix and Prime but was pleasantly surprised to see that KODI was available for download. I also like that the HDMI inputs can be renamed which is probably standard fare for recent TVs but was new to me. Unfortunately, I can't speak to the quality of the internal sound as I use a Samsung receiver 5.1 setup. As for gaming it supported VRR out of the box requiring no manual intervention and the PS5 output was set to 4K 60HZ automatically. There are various display and HDR modes available but I set it to "Game" mode. In game mode it did seem as though the colours lost some vibrancy but I will admit it looks much softer and feels easier on the eyes. While this TV is only 60HZ, it is probably unlikely that the more graphical intensive titles on the PS5 will be able to go over 60fps. It was also less than a third of the price of 120HZ capable TVs at least when I purchased it for 220USD. It's an excellent TV for the price range, just be aware that some sizes are VA instead of IPS so do your research(I believe tech steve had a listing of the sizes and panel types they come with).

This TV is great image quality and intuitive navigation at a bargain price. If you use Google Home, it will effortlessly synch all your apps onto the home screen instantly with a quick QR code scan (think YouTube, YouTubeTV, Spotify, MAX, Prime, etc...) without having to download and sign in to every app individually - this was a delight. I've seen other similar priced TVs with lower image quality (TCL for sure worse than this at similar price point). Light and easy to hang. Very happy with purchase. Only reason it's not 5* is because you can spend a lot more money to get impeccable image quality which is better than this, but this is as good as it gets for the price. You can spot minor/blurry blending imperfections if you're up close to the screen, but from any distance it looks totally fine and natural. Dark images appear smooth and clean and not a confusing mix of gray and black pixels like you see on TCL. PS: I have this TV situated in a living room w limited natural light - no glare from sun whatsoever - and it works well in this setting.

This 43" version is our first excursion into the world of Smart TV's. This puppy is feather light, took longer to unbox than to set itself up to the internet. Picture, compared to even our old high end plasma, is amazingly clear and sharp. We got it as a bedroom TV and are using it through WIFI and it's cable free. Inexpensive indoor amplified antennae is pulling 50+ channels and it's actually facing away from most of the towers. Apps work just fine and we have the welcome screen set to App Mode. So far we have tried it w/ a single USB3 Stick, an External USB3 Hard Drive and a 4 Port USB3. Worked just fine. We did though add the VLC Movie Player App as I prefer it to the onboard Media Player. The only glitch we have had was that the screen failed to boot up the next time after I accidentally pulled one of the USB's while the TV was still turned on. I simply turned it off, unplugged both ends of the power cord, waited 30 seconds, reattached and powered it up. Worked just fine! We haven't even begun to touch all the features!

I got this in July and it is now March. The screen image is superb. Bright, clear, perfect, amazing. And that's the ONLY good thing about this TV. The speakers go in and out on it. Connecting a soundbar doesn't help the speaker issues, not when the TV software is crap and will kick out the soundbar. We aren't screwing up the install or anything. This TV has pairing issues with other hardware. Heck, it won't pair properly with its own remote! Try using the mute for 'commercials' on free streaming services, and it will kick the sound back on two to three times before it will mute. Then it will finally read that you wanted the sound muted, but halfway through the actual programming you're watching, so then you have to reverse back. The remote is also clunky and lacks features. It doesn't have a skip forward or skip back button like the Roku and Fire TV remotes do. Those are super necessary when the tv decides to mute itself randomly and all the tv apps need a skip forward, skip back button, or else it takes twice as long to get them to recognize the stupid wheel button on the remote as compatible with their software. The software itself is clunky. I've updated, updated, updated, and it just hasn't gotten better, not since I've had this TV. Every single time that I turn it on, it resets the main screen about three times. So, I have to wait for that to happen. Then, when I click down on the wheel on the remote to access my apps, the software has to refresh again, changing the setup on the screen and the shows/movies offered. It's annoying to have to wait for this 'smart' tv, to get smart enough for me to use it, when my five year older Hitachi Roku tv pops right up and works great. It just has a backlight going out, this one was on sale, so we bought this. I should have just gotten another Hitachi, because that thing still works like a dream, save for the darker area on one side. And the picture image isn't nearly as refined and clear as this Hisense. If I could have this screen with my Hitachi software, I'd be in heaven. Accessing apps is a nightmare. This will constantly default to the main screen, randomly. And it'll run the sound from the show or movie while it's defaulting back to the main screen, so the sound will be blaring while the movie/show is not playing and the main screen is refreshing, and then the sound won't mute to avoid spoilers. The apps don't seem to be compatible with this TV's software. They glitch and fail constantly, exiting to the main screen. Or freezing. Or I get stuck in an app and can't do anything to get out of it, because the apps freeze and then the remote stops working. It's so random. I have great internet speed. My internet isn't the problem. I've got an ethernet cable running to this, and after Hurricane Idalia and our lack of internet service then, we have a T-Mobile router running as a backup should our home internet ever fail again. So, this has two internet options. It's not my internet. It's the software with the TV. I'm shocked at all the good reviews. In the months that I've had this, I've wanted to throw it away at least three times a month, and I'm the type of person to drive my car until the tires fall off, to use a spoon even when it has a hole in it, because it functions, kind of. This TV works fine, when it wants to, but that's never fully happened for a full, hour and a half movie. It glitches so much that even I, the person who will not replace a working item, even if it's only mostly working, even if it's ugly or out of style, am willing to throw this away. I wouldn't donate it. It would cause a headache to anyone who received it. I would literally take this to the dump and smash it there so that myself and my family could be freed from this headache and money waster and so that no one else would be afflicted by it. It makes watching tv an absolute chore. I'd rather watch my shows on my 15 inch laptop screen than on this tv, because I know that that screen will work. I have 5 actively used tv's in our home. We have a Vizio, Insignia, Element, and a Sanyo, an LG, and those all work great. We got a Samsung literally 90 days ago that just went black screen on us, so I get it that some TVs are just lemons. This one has such a good picture, so clear, so crisp, that it makes gaming on it a dream. But then the sound doesn't work for my Xbox most of the time either, and I've gone through 4 HDMI cables on all the inputs, so that's a problem too. Great picture, terrible remote, there's an inability to pair properly to the remote which results in button mashing and huge problems when trying to access or leave apps, the software is so glitchy that it makes using this a nightmare, and it won't hold settings for sound on outside equipment like a sound bar or Xbox. I'd never, never buy again. Save yourself a headache and buy a Roku tv. Their software is so much more user friendly. Our LG, which is our oldest TV and constantly used for gaming is our very best one that's held up like a champ at 5 years old. That's my recommendation. I'm bummed that I didn't just return this as soon as I realized how clunky and terrible the software was initially.

After seeing so many great reviews online on this TV, I decided to purchase one. This TV was the long awaited upgrade to a 32" Hisense TV purchased 6 years ago! The TV was delivered in 5 days after ordering online and was at my front door without a single scratch on the box...This was very well packaged with a nice screen protector that needs to be peeled off...I feel lucky that this TV set came in flawless condition, without a single scratch or blemish on it! Setting up this TV was a breeze and only takes about 10 minutes to take out the box, setting up the legs, setting up the remote and connecting to WiFi... Navigating through the apps is a cinch and the Google platform is the best! You can't go wrong with voice search, Bluetooth and Chromecast built-in! The picture is stunning and for a basic 4k TV it is unbelievable! The small bezels is also why I decided to buy this one...The sound is just "ok", but hooking up a sound bar is highly recommend. I've hooked up a Hisense Soundbar and just like that, an instant home theater! I'm so glad I made this purchase and so happy with Amazon's quick and careful delivery! Hisense will be my forever TV brand!

For a budget TV don't hesitate. I was skeptical and picky but just needed a TV for the spare room. What the heck, it's inexpensive with some nice features. The android interface is smooth and full featured even if it's proprietary. The TV almost has as many settings and fine tuning settings of my 6x more expensive TV. After some adjustments the picture is great. The remote is limited but works great and is voice capable. I use an old 5.1 sound system with toss/optical with no problem. (some channels and apps I have to change the output setting. But if you have a newer 'hdmi' sound bar you shouldn't have to) I'm not a professional/fanatical gamer but all my PC games on Steam look good. Only 60fps but minimal if any lag/latency. Is it as good as my my dedicated 120hz PC monitor? No, but for the games I want on a 50inch screen it's great. HDR is in the "eye of the beholder" and over-sold in my opinion. As long as the 4k picture looks great, I can live without it. But the 4k and HDR looks as good as my other TV. Also... 1080p, 720p and even 480p scale and looks great. (like any TV, you will have to adjust the settings) I have not found any fault, quirk or problem with set. If my Sony goes out I'm moving this to the living room.
