We've been using Pears soap for over twenty years, and do not think it has changed. Our skin is sensitive to other soaps with fragrances and made with many different additives.

The ingredients listed on the box are: Water, Sodium Palm Kemelate, Sorbitol, Sodium Rosinate, Sodium Palmate, Glycerin, Sodium Stereate, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, PEG-4, Alcohol Denat., Sodium Chloride, Fragrance, Sodium metabisulfite, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Tetrasodium EDTA, BHT, Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf (Rosemary) Extract, D&C Yellow No. 10 (Cl47005), D&C Red No. 33 (Cl17200).These ingredients listed are obviously many more than the 7 ingredients listed on the page.

Unmistakable specialty soap.

This is a very mild translucent soap with a nice spicy scent. I have used it for years. The scent has changed a little since the soap has started being made in India, but it is still very nice and characteristic.

EXCELLENTBUT I would have given it 5 Stars if the fragrance was the same as before.It used to be slightly Fruity in a subtle way but this batch is more like a slightly medicinal mouthwash almost like Listerine.Why did they change it?When did it change?
