Nu salt is of course a substitute for salt. So far I'm happy with the product. It has helped with my BP. However, it doesn't have the taste of salt.

I bought this for my dear friend who can't have sodium so he's been putting Ms Dash on everything he eats for years and years - he is over-the-moon happy to have regular tasting salt w/o the health damaging sodium!! Great product!

This is I think something like 90% potassium chloride and it's got some other stuff in it. Supposedly for some flavor or to eliminate any chance of metallic taste. I'm still sus on the whole idea. But it's cheap and it passes and guess what? It doesn't friggin leak! It's a great container and it seals well. Which is better than I can save for the more expensive brand. Nusalt.

This No Salt product disagreed with me horribly! My first use was on my dinner 2 nights ago where I applied enough to get the salt flavor on the meal like I would normally with salt. Later at 2am I woke with a stomach ache that continued until 4am when I got dry heaves... really miserable. I haven't had a night like this in many years.Be aware that this product can have side effects like any drug.

I tried it straight out of the container and it was pretty salty. I used it to season some fries and it tasted okay, but it left a wierd aftertaste. The best I could describe the aftertaste is "chemical-ish". So, for me, I'm not a fan.
