A Nice 80% Tungsten Dart
Elkadart Rhino... The first I've heard of this brand is when I saw these here on Amazon. After throwing darts for nearly 30yrs, I've seen so many changes in darts I just had to try these. The price is so low it was hard to believe. This review is on the barrels only because I only use my own flights & shafts. So I never judge a dart by those or how they may effect the flight of the barrel. The barrel is what you're mostly paying for.On to it... I am mostly used to using 90% tungsten darts, but things have changed over the years & I wanted to try these. I was surprised to see that these 80% tungsten darts are nearly as thin as the 90% ones I'm used to, plus the barrel was much shorter than expected. Usually, a thin dart of lesser tungsten will be longer to make up for more mass, but not so with these. (I hoping for a longer barrel)These are a well balanced, precision made dart of a high quality! I personally couldn't use them due to me liking longer barrels, so I returned them, but don't let that stop you from buying these, they are well worth the small costAs said, these are too short for my grip, but they are not a super short barrel. I use a lot of the barrel when I hold a dart, so I need one on the long end of the spectrum. Having said that, if my grip was different I would have bought 2 sets of these because I prefer to practice by throwing 6 darts instead of 3 to cut my practice time in half. Less walking too lol.Hope you find this review helpful.

Grippy!
Look at the shaft on the 25g version ... the way the shaft is cut ... Newton taught us that with every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, and these shafts actually cause your skin to grab more dart as you push forward because they basically bite back into your skin with forward inertia. That's why I bought them, and I was NOT disappointed. The dart is going to end up exactly where you throw it and it's improved my results quite a bit.Well worth the money in my opinion.

Comfortable knurling, wish the lighter version had it
I'm very particular about knurling. I know what's going to feel comfortable, and I could see by the photos that these would be. Unfortunately, I would be better served by a lighter dart, but the knurling for the lighter versions looks less comfortable. Too bad.
