Acoustibuds are soft, flexible tips that fit over the flat speaker face of your earphones. Acoustibuds flexible tips maximize bass, improve noise isolation, add comfort and help keep earphones from falling out. Personalize the fit of your earphone and Bluetooth devices while improving the sound quality. Acoustibuds fit original style, flat faced earphones sold with Apple iPod, iPhone, Microsoft Zune, Sony and many other MP3 players. Acoustibuds also fit many replacement earphones and Bluetooth headsets that are noted in our compatibility list. They are not designed to fit Apple Ear pods or earphones that come with stem mounted tips. Package contains tips only, earphones are not included. Made in the USA. The shape of your ear is unique, and no rigid earpiece is going to fit you as well as cushy, soft Acoustibuds tips. Acoustibuds' flexible fins conform to the unique shape of your ear canal and create a gentle seal for better bass fidelity and sound isolation. Acoustibuds come in different sizes to fit a wide variety of ears and to produce more or less sound isolation. As the fins grip the walls of the ear canal, they resist sweat and tugs on the speaker wire, keeping your earphones in place. Acoustibuds are not like other in ear headphones. Many in ear headphones offer flexible bulbs mounted over a rigid tubular stem. Acoustibuds' flexible sound port gathers sound waves from the speaker and funnels them into a trumpet shaped passage into the ear canal. By avoiding abrupt changes in shape and direction, the sound port helps eliminate reflections that cause earphones to sound ''tinny" Because they are flexible, Acoustibuds can bend and direct sound waves into a wide variety of unique ears.

Great for Old, Heavy Lubix BT Headset
I have an old model BT Lubix headset - 2 units, and kind of heavy/clunky. So, I've tried regular foam pads, ear gels - nothing kept the sets from pulling out of my ears. And, as I was constantly adjusting the sets, my ears were in great pain by the end of use. With the Acoustibuds, the headset pieces FINALLY stay in my ears, and don't drag on my ears, either. I'm still playing with the various sizes - it's true that one might be best served by using different sizes in each ear, so I'm glad I bought this set of 3 sizes.I've noticed that, once properly seated, these really do NOT pull out easily. The Lubix set has a neck wire, so I'm not as concerned about one dropping out to get lost or damaged, but I imagine these would be a great safety addition to mono ear pieces. And, as I've fallen asleep with these in, I can say that they do not cause pain after long-term insertion, either.I'm also getting used to how to insert/seat these. The directions say to "wiggle" them, and that is the key, but it has to be done gently and both up/down and side/side. If done too enthusiastically, the Acoustibuds tend to slide further around the buds than they should - so that the buds aren't centered inside the way they should be.I hear a bit of sound muffling - sometimes it's been because the Acoustibuds had slipped off center. However, I feel that it's also the softness of the rubber. BUT, I'll gladly trade that for the comfort of these! If I'm listening during down time, I just use my equalizer app to adjust the sound. When I'm on the go, I'm not really aware of the muffling.I haven't yet tried these with traditional ear buds, but I'm guessing they'd be fantastic as far as keeping them in my ears - great for listening while active - since they handle the heavy Lubix set so well.In summary, I feel that this was $15-some well invested - for the first time, I'm truly enjoying my Lubix headset, and they have now become my primary all-uses headset, instead of just my "hands-free" headset.

Superb, especially now that they come in 3 sizes!
My ex-husband drives a crude oil tanker and it's extremely loud. He had a very hard time hearing callers with his Jawbone before trying the acoustibuds. He also had a problem with it falling out of his ear when he bent over at times. We tried all the other ear gels on the market and nothing else worked. When he started to wear the Acoustibuds, he actually had to turn down the volume on his earpiece, that's how much they improve the sound level. Also, he'd never had the Jawbone fall out, not once. He wears a size 5, but now likes the 4 better.I couldn't wear them because my ear canal is very small (I am petite), even most small ear gels made by other manufacturers are too large for me, including those that came with my Bose in-earphones & every Bluetooth I ever tried (and then had to return). Any type of earpiece became very uncomfortable after a short time, even other aftermarket gel buds hurt my ears so badly that I could only stand them for 20 minutes or so at a time.I could force the size 5 into my ear and it would stay for a while and didn't hurt, but was simply too large, so they'd fall out.I wrote to the manufacturer asking if there was a smaller size available and they said that they had the 4 coming out and actually sent me a free trial pair, which was very nice. When we went out separate ways, my ex got custody of them, lol, because he liked how they fit him.At last, there is now the size 4 available for sale and I snapped them right up. I can now wear my Bose earbuds in comfort and have tried them with hubby's Jawbone and could wear it comfortably. He was right about the noise cancelling properties, I have turned down the volume on my Bose earbuds and am looking forward to using them on my flight to Mexico this week, I think that they will muffle the engine noise nicely.I can't recommend these highly enough. Would like to see them in black here on Amazon, but any color will do as long as I can have the size 4 :DOne caveat that is mentioned in the description: They don't work with every type of headset, so be sure to read the compatibility listing.
