Great information, substandard book quality.
Information wss awesome. Book pages have large indulations on the edge. Looks like the book is in a humid greenhouse. Would also gave been better if objects and constellations had common name labels somewhere. You will need another book or internet to figure out what some of these things are and to figure where they are located.

Eh not really needed
There are lots of web sites that tell you when is the best time to shoot various celestial targets. This book is full of charts that have graphing showing how many hours of imaging time you have for any given target at three different latitudes... which sounds useful, but it's easier to to look online than to read the charts in the book.

Perfect for the star gazer in your life
My husband uses this all the time. He has 3 telescopes and it helps to find the stars and constellations. Perfect gift even if no telescope, it easily shows where to find all the mysteries in the night sky.

A good planner
It really helps with your astronomy observation sessions for the evening, by grouping recommended targets. Lots of good information.
