Great narration of Michael Langan, you feel the pace and action. You will find yourself listening to the fight against these terrorist groups they are truly very special types of people, who fight counterterrorism espionage, undercover operations, and moving in the shadows. To hunt them down and eliminate them, David Reece leads a black ops team known as The Department, or SG9.

The Men and Women who keep us safe
I really enjoyed this book, you can tell the author has been there and done it. I am just in the process of getting the next one in the series, hopefully as good or even better. Thank you to all who watch over us so we can move about freely and sleep soundly in our beds

Brilliant debut book by the author
I thought this book was excellent and very well written by someone with a great deal of experience in his field. I was gripped by the story and couldn't wait to see how it turned out. Looking forward to reading the next book in the trilogy.

Exciting terrorist plot and how the authorities chase them down
A really exciting well written book , when Islamic and PIRA terrorists hatch a joint plan to kill the Prime Minister in Manchester the authorities (with help from others whose ideals have changed) swing in to action to track them down before the event . Gripping from the start and hard to put down .

Great attention to detail. For me, the book captured the difficulties faced by the surveillance operatives. In the fight against these terrorist groups they are truly very special types of people. A big thank you to the author, the book earns a well deserved 5 stars

Great read. Makes you think who are keeping us safe.
Really enjoyed this book recommended by Conrad jones. Shows real insight into the safety net that is around us protecting us from covert dangers. The terrorist plot seems real and the author clearly and logically unravels this. A climatic finish. Great read. Look forward to the next.
