An even monkey's fist is indeed achievable!
This is such a simple jug but it really is ingenious. It is incredibly painstaking to make an even monkey's fist without a jig like this and so easy to do so with it. It's inexpensive and serves its purpose very well! It's made out of cheap wood, but that's all that is needed. The only caveat is that due to the bolt on the bottom, it doesn't sit flat on a table. Not such a big deal but worth noting and could be improved upon. Still very much worth buying though

I can use a job but still can’t dance one.
A simple device. Easy to carry about. Instructions easy to follow. Successful the first time.

Not great for the 2-1/4 size
Does the job but should be a little bigger for the 2-1/4 in ball if you’re getting to make the bigger size I wouldn’t recommend getting this one.

This jig helped me make my first successful paracord monkey fist...
This jig helped me make my first successful paracord monkey fist, plus a few more after that!It took a few... dozen tries, following some YouTube videos, but I finally got it and I can definitely see why this jig is much easier than doing it by hand. The jig doesn't come with directions on making the monkey fist (other reviewers mentioned this) but I didn't really expect any. I had already found a dozen or so free tutorials online, I just had to put the jig together to fit the size I wanted. Thanks for a nice quality jig!
