Furore: Texas Chapter Duet Part One (The Night Skulls MC Book 1)

I wasn’t too sure with this book, it’s a quick dark romance read. The whole time I kept waiting for something to happen, a good read but I do plan to finish the series in hopes it gets better.

Book is written fine, it leaves you with so many questions. Just as you are starting to try and pull the pieces together its over so you have to move to the next book to see what will happen. You get both your MC and Mafia here.

4.5 Stars. OMG. If you LOVE dark romance, forbidden romance, PICK THIS ONE UP!!!Full Review.So I finished this book yesterday, and let me just say...it's 𝐓𝐎𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘣𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯. It's dark romance, MC romance, 𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘨𝘢𝘱, twisted, and 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌𝐘!!! ALL the tropes that I freaking love. I was very hesitant with this duet because I know N.J. Adel books can get really twisted that will hurt me. Lol BUT I decided to take a chance, and 𝐈 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐈𝐓 so much!!!⁣ Like wow!!!⁣Jo is a volunteer teacher to teach English for inmates. She was running from her past, and hoping that teaching inmates will be able to make amends. Then Furore, who was in jail, decided to join the English class that Jo was teaching. They totally have chemistry, but Jo is not sure if he's to protect her or against her. ⁣⁣I need that 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐃 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐊 𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐏!!!!

Dark romance lovers this one's for you. Furore is the 1st book in the Night Skulls MC duet and I enjoyed it. This was a dark, forbidden, MC, age gap romance that was steamy, suspenseful, had fascinating characters and an intriguing plot and I was hooked from beginning to end and could not put it down. I loved Jo and Furore, the chemistry between them was intense and I loved their banter, but their steamy scenes were off the charts hott.This story will take you on quite a ride and there were some trigger scenes so check the warning. It was fast paced yet flowed smoothly and ends in a major cliff-hanger. I can't wait for part 2 and would highly recommend this novel to lovers of dark romance.

Furore is the 1st part of an MC/Mafia duet by N.J. Adel. It's fast paced, full of suspense and dark and twisted romance.I must say if you're familiar with N.J. Adel's work, you'll find this book pretty tame than her other books. It's still dark, but she wrote darker. It's still a great book. Enjoyed it immensely and have a feeling part 2 Tirone will be even better.

Honestly the only problem I have is the fact that the MC hooked up with a minor. I don’t think that should ever be fantasized in any way. Doesn’t matter if the kid LOOKS like a man, that’s a child through and through mentally and emotionally.

I enjoyed the story line. Being from the South, I hated how “y’all” was misused. I’m an English teacher and love diction, so it was hard for me to overlook. Otherwise, I loved it.

So you may want to read the Forbidden Cruel Italian books first, it’s not necessary but definitely provides more insight. It’s definitely an interesting book, and I’m intrigued to see what book 2 in this duet entails.

This is the story of Furore and Jo. Jo is an English teacher and Furore is the President of the Night Skulls MC. You wouldn’t expect to meet someone in a prison English class but that is exactly how these two meet. Keep in mind this is a story where they fall in love quickly and while you might be why are they in love they have zero in common, keep in mind they do not exactly meet out in the world like most people do and can date. Also this is fiction and you can just have one great love story that doesn’t have to really make sense there so different but I loved that they knew they loved each other. I believe when you meet the one you just know it. It doesn’t have to make sense to anyone so just do not over think why they fall in love just sit back and love that they did. I also have to say that if you like a dirty talking alpha male then you are going to love Furore. I just love me a dirty mouthed male character and Furore delivers!!! I don’t really want to get into their story. There are so many twists and turns in it that I feel like you just need to dive in and not look at reviews or even the description of the book. Just open it. Get comfortable and I guarantee you you will end up on the edge of your seat. I have never read N.J. Adel before but I loved her writing style, her characters and over all the entire story really. I will be reading her again as often as she wants to give us all her words.

So spoilers but actually wtfI never mind a possessive guy or dark romance but this was so messed up-main character volunteers in prison- turns out she’s doing this as she slept with her MINOR student in the real world (who’s 17)- then falls for student in prison who’s 41 to her 23, he’s creepy possessive, they barely know each other - like not a single conversation that’s not sex- THEN THE MINOR STUDENT COMES BACK AND SEXUALLY ASSAULTS HER WITH A GUN - acc disgusting- find out the 41 year old prison student is minor students father- both father and son have individually kidnapped her in this bookAcc filthy and gross. No redeemable character. Weird morality throughout. Should be considered a horror. Honestly only finished it out of outrage.

I loved this story about a teacher who taught creative writing in a prison and an Italian MC president. As soon as they see each other there is an instant sexual connection. She is still reeling from her previous lover abandoning her but cannot help the way she feels about this inmate. Soon he gets released and she agreed to follow him to Texas. But her old flame turns up outbid the blue and started to act like a crazy obsessed stalker. He threatens her new boyfriend so in order to protect him she agrees to go along. She manages to get away but is kidnapped again! She awakes with a branding tattoo on her backside and her boyfriend looming over her. She tries to explain her ordeal and he vows to go after her abductor. But first he wants to introduce her to his son .....

Jo has been on the run for most of her life disguising herself so her fathers wife can’t find her and finish what she started when she was 8 . Now she has the Italian mafia after her so they can hold her against her father who is head of the Irish mafia and to make things even more difficult she has fallen in love with an ex con prez of the night skulls mc . Just when she though her life couldn’t get any more complicated she finds out Tirone her ex his Furore son . Going straight into book 2 now I need answers .

What a great story! The plot is unique and so so good! The characters are well defined and throughout the story you get to see more of their development. I am so so intrigued on how this story will progress because I know some major heartbreak will have to happen. Running to book 2
