What is the battery run time for this product and battery?

Ours ran a good 2 hours after charging overnight. Paved flat drive way and some grassy slopes. We did have the lights and radio off so not sure how much of a drain they would have added.

Do you have to use the remotrol control?

The remote control mode can have low, medium and high speed modes, you can start the test from low speed. Relatively speaking, this speed is absolutely safe. Because it is specially designed for kids.
