I’ll start my review by answering a question which I could not find an answer to in scouring all the reviews: does this dog bed provide great cushion against a hard floor? Unfortunately, the answer is “No.” If you place this dog bed on a hard floor, when your dog lies down on it, your dog will feel the hard floor. All the reviews that say this dog bed is “soft” don’t seem to be referring to the cushioning provided for your dog.Yes, this dog bed is very soft! It’s soft in the way satin cloth is soft, or like a cotton ball is soft. But you will want to place it on your couch or your bed or place some kind of memory foam beneath it to get cushion against the floor.Having said that, our dog loves this bed! We put it on our couch, and because he is a borrower, “Charlie” took to it immediately!It would probably do fine on a nice carpeted floor, but if you are planning to use it on a hardwood floor or any hard surface, you really are not doing your dog any favors.

Got this for our cat and he loves using this at night time. Doesn’t have weird smell and the sides are fluffy. The bottom doesn’t have thick foam but rather have the same thickness of an area rug.It’s very soft and fluffy and makes a nice cozy bed for our cat. The dome part is never use though. I tried to teach him and let him know about that hidden part but he don’t care, not sure if it’s because there is no way for him to tell it is there coz it’s like a blanket kind that you have to open to get inside.Overall it’s a nice cozy bed but that dome/hooded feature doesn’t seem to be working.

The medium size bed was perfect for my 18lb Taco Terrier. I thought this would be a good fit for her because she loves to burrow under covers. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first saw the packaging, but as soon as I opened it up it fluffed up immediately and it's soft and thick. At first my pup didn't want to get inside the bed, but she laid on top of it. After she got comfortable I showed her how to get underneath the cover and she fell right in love with it. So far, the bed seems pretty sturdy and it hasn't had any problem with shedding. It's a nice size to keep on the end of the couch so she can get cozy at my feet when I'm not using a blanket. I've seen more expensive beds that looks similar, but this one was in my budget and seems to have worked out great so far. And it came just in time for her birthday. Excellent! My pup and I are both very happy.

My sphynx love it!! It took them awhile to figure out how to get under the cover part but now they are pros at covering up under it!!

While I really like the soft furry material and my cat will lay in this bed, the bed itself is not supportive at all! My cat weighs 15 lbs and his weight flattens the bed to the floor. I had to find an old bed and stuff it underneath the “cave” portion just so that my cat has more cushion to lay on. I would return the bed but since he has already used it and left fur behind, I will figure out a way to make it more comfortable for him. I do not recommend this bed if you are looking for a supportive orthopedic pet bed.

Disappointed at first because the "fur" is tan, but the fabric is grey and that makes it look weird. I like the thought of it having a pouch, but none of our animals can usually find it nor do they use it. I usually have to put it over them. However, the cats DO approve of it though as a whole and used it the first day without prompting. They always look so snuggly in it.

The media could not be loaded. My dachshund keeps digging at our pillows in an attempt to burrow, so I bought her this. It’s perfect! My only note is that she is slowly ripping off the shag, which might get annoying. It’s the perfect size for her though (she’s 11 lbs and very long, in traditional dachshund style), which is great!

Our dog loves it. Cannot comment on durability but nice shape and fabric.
