Must buy!
The book was great. Did not disappoint. I love poetry and I am very picky on what I read. This book will be being bought paperback now because it is well worth the money. Changed my mood 💯

Excellent, Raw pure poetry
Kemp has written amazing poetry, expressive writing in a brilliant poetic form. That said it is raw, some poems I found stripped of words on something that should be there.Others perfectly written in raw form.I do recommend.

If this was a cd I’d keep it on repeat
Although this is a departure from the subject matter I normally gravitate toward, I enjoyed the poetry very much. It’s very easy to read, provokes interesting imagery and is a book I will read over and over.

50/50
I liked some and others fell flat for me. I really don’t like when common catch phrases are used often in poetry. It feels like a cop out and I can’t connect. But this did have a some that I felt and connected with.

Incredible and Beautiful Poetry.
This collection was a pleasure to read. Some of the poems are gorgeous and only got better with a second or third reading. Lines like:If you give me reason not to love you,I will love you without reason.andI may drown in you and you in I.As that’s the only way lovers make it.Stopped me in my tracks. Highly recommended!

Overall I enjoyed it but…
In my opinion poetry is harder to review than a story book, at least for me. There were poems in this collection that were truly moving and there were some I didn’t connect with at all.Though I did find some poems to be a little muddy and almost feeling forced I was ultimately very happy with this collection. I would definitely recommend, my copy has been marked with sticky notes and underlines of all my favorite pieces. The irony here is not lost on me:“Let the raving silence say it all. To tell all I could’ve never said,to burn and rage and remainunspoken.”

) SO good! I loved it
3.5/5 stars"And her heart was a looking glassto all the things that drove her mad."Many thanks to the author who kindly send me this book in exchange of an honest review.I've read a lot of poetry books, and I have to admit that this wasn't one of my favorites. BUT. The writing was SO, SO (...) SO good! I loved it! Beautiful images, and it was smooth, and gosh, perfect.I really think that poetry is kind of personal. I mean, one book can speaks to your soul, and some may not like it at all. But that's the whole beauty of it. That's why reviewing poetry is difficult. But I really hope that if you're reading this book, you'll enjoy it as I did." Even the biggest and brightest starmust fall to dust afterward."
