Absolutely love love love this, I love that you can wash it and that the back is slip proof, and that’s a big on the safety list! I think it’s very comfortable for babies but if you have hard wood and plan on laying with your baby, it’s not so cushy for us, but it fits perfectly in my 50x50 play pen and the floral pattern was exactly what I was looking for as there are hardly in that pattern, so the color was exactly what I wanted and it folds neatly when you need to put it away

New Edit: while my first mat came 2 inches smaller in L and W than advertised, I have since gotten 2 more (it was close enough and still a good mat). These other mats were perfect in everyway. Size was as advertised, the dots on the back have not come off at all in the wash, and they were even a bit thicker than the first one (which was already fine padding wise). I am thinking that first one was a fluke or maybe even a knock off that was accidently sent by amazon. To me this in now a 5 star mat for the playpens I have.I got the 71X59 size mat, and the tag with the packaging said 71X59 so I know I wasn't sent the wrong size. Unfortunately it did not come true to size, and doesn't fill my play yard like other buyers have shown theirs do in pictures. Mine is an inch short on all sides if I put the blanket in the middle, leaving an inch gap unpadded on all the sides of the play yard floor. I measured the yard and it's a true 71X59, but the blanket is measuring at more of a 69 X 57. I love it otherwise, mine came with padding unlike some of the complaints, just wish it fit true to size. Also to note, the little non-slip dots on the back will come off in the wash and leave themselves all over the washer and dryer, so be prepared for that.

This mat is much thinner than I was expecting. It’s very soft and almost like a comforter. Easy to wash. Would be great on top of a carpeted area however just not what I was needing for my hardwood floors!

I bought this for my 8-month-old. He has been standing and trying to walk all month and in true helicopter mother fashion... I have been terrified! I've been worried he will fall and hurt himself. I have bought crawling helmets and backpack head protectors. Still haven't felt super confident in him moving around so much alone. I put a comforter under his play area to soften his fall. I saw this and order it and it has calmed my worries a lot. He doesn't seem to be hurt at all when he falls or when he loses his balance and slams down on his rear. It has been through a lot in the short amount of time I've had it. It's been peed on, thrown up on, and been pooped on. It's had food smeared in it and our dogs rubbed mud in it. It has been washed numerous times in a month and still looks and feels the same. Hasn't held any stains or odors from the atrocities it has been through. It feels comfortable to sit on and play with my baby too. Definitely kid and parent friendly. Pets seem to love it too.
