I bought this when I was planning for a trip to France, Italy and Switzerland this summer and I just got back from our trip and boy was I glad I got this. Milan summer was unpredictable and when we got caught in a downpour, this came in handy! Luckily, this fit right in my purse and I carried it with me during the time we were out and about. It was also sturdy and didn't give out in the rain and wind! Ease of opening plus ease of closing was a plus! I didn't have to struggle trying to open the umbrella. Highly recommended! Lightweight. Sturdy. Handy.

The biggest selling point for me is its size and the black and white window pane print! Easy to stick in your handbag on rainy days and very lightweight. The only thing I didn't like about it is that opening the umbrella is tricky. The part that slides the umbrella open does not always easily snap onto the notch that's supposed to keep it in place. Sometimes, it slides out of place. That speaks to poor quality control but you get what you pay for, so just know that.

As a 72 year old woman who worshipped the sun in my earlier years, I am now paying the price. I’ve had many basal and squamous skin cancers, and unfortunately some were on my face. Now I am never in the sun and always wear sunscreen. I had two funerals to attend recently and didn’t want to stand in the hot New England sun for graveside services without adequate protection, so in addition to sunglasses and sunscreen, I had this umbrella to help. It is perfect for my needs- lightweight, perfect size ( smaller than another I purchased ), kept me cooler and provided the shade I needed. Excellent quality for a great price, I will bring it along for anytime I need to stay out of the intense rays. I imagine it would work for rain just as well. Highly recommend.

Brought this umbrella on a rainy trip and it was a major pain the whole time. It’s very difficult to get it to click open and doesn’t stay, will not stay closed/compact even with the prongs inside of the base, and the base came off in the middle of use. It flipped inside out constantly at the slightest of breezes. Yes it’s small, but I would spend the extra $5 and not deal with the constant hassle this brings.

The umbrella is a good size for a backpack. My son uses it but it’s a little weak and the material is also so if it’s windy outside or pouring rain, it would probably break so that’s why I gave it a three star.

PACKS WELL, NICE SIZE, GOOD PRICE….KEEP YOU DRY. HAVE NOT HAD TO USE IN HIGH WINDS YET, BUT I THINK IT WILL PREFORM WELL

Very small and easy to fit in a pants pocket. Did a good job with rain but did not do well with strong winds (light wind ok).

I love how small and compact it is. It fits inside my pocket which makes it super convenient when I'm heading out and might need and umbrella, but I don't want to be carrying something huge along. Then once you open it, there is still lots of coverage to protect you from the rain.

I have to start by saying I didn't try it under heavy rain or wind yet.Positive:- There's a button that clips the umbrella closed. There's no risk it will open until you press that button. Great feature!- It is smaller than any umbrella I ever owned (once closed). It fits in a purse or the middle compartment of the car (that's where I keep mine). Once opened, it's perfect for one person.- The purple color on the outside is gorgeous (my favourite color!) and it's black inside.- Looks sturdy and durable.Negative:- Mine is hard to open it fully to keep it opened. I need to push strongly.The company has a great customer service. They told me they would replace it if I still have trouble with the umbrella. Also, they told me it's lifetime warrantied. What?! Wow!Don't hesitate, it's a good purchase and a perfect umbrella to carry with you anywhere.

The umbrella is awesome. It is very light weight and fits in my jacket's pocket easily. The quality is awesome considering how light it is. It has no buttons, just a pull push system. I wish it is made in more printed colors as well with some design rather than just plain colors.

Loved this small size. Was perfect for throwing in a purse and have just in case.
