Needs diagram.
Would like instructions. What looked like a simple instal was not the case. The hinges jammed during operation. I enlarged the slot numerous times, then the limit arm fell Into the slot. After many adjustments, it became functional but not without some slight interference.

Good Solid Hinges
These are solid hinges which make the box feel even better.

Used better ones
Do not close flush. Required deeper mortise to facilitate tight fit between box and lid of my project. Wrong screws supplied. Sold each not in pairs. Recommend buying more expensive choice offered.

nice little hinge
Some visible cutting marks on the sides, so the finish isn't quite perfect, but even so it's a sharp looking little hinge.

Liars
These aren't the heavy brass Rockler hinges. They are cheap junk.Rockler's prices are outrageous but this is just misrepresentation.

A bargain
Very good hinge for the price. I used it on my granddaughters treasure chest. Worked like a charm, and she likes it.

Faulty hinge manufacture
I bought these directly from Rockler. Terrible Chinese quality. After two days of struggling with what I thought were faults with my mortises, which were preventing the lid from opening unless I turned the box on its back - I discovered that a manufacturing defect was causing the support arm to bind against the forward part of the lower hinge cutout. With a small file I enlarged the hinge opening forward by about 1/64 inch or less. Only then would the box lid open and close as expected. Very expensive I know, but the Brusso hinges are machined perfectly, look better and will be easier to install. I wish there was a choice in between junk and elegance.
