NEREUS 150FT Zipline Kits for Backyard with Bear-Shaped Steel Trolley, Zip Lines for Backyard Kids and Adults with Cable Tensioning Kit

Great zip line, fairly easy to install. The racket makes all the difference and tightening the line is a breeze.

The backyard zipline kit was fairly intuitive to setup and works well. It’s seems to be made of strong durable materials. Grandkids love it. We selected this one due to the longer length of 150 ft . Previously we’ve used one that was 50 ft. There are 3 things I would improve.1. The picture on the box (see photo) does not match the actual part inside. The one inside (see photo) does not have the thick ring attached at the bottom to link the carabiner into. Instead I must put the carabiner into the “smile” of the bear. Perhaps they’ve changed this for safety reasons but I think they should have updated photos to Reflect the actual product. I did notice that one photo on Amazon does show the correct photo.2. As for the instructions, they only include connecting the basic parts of the zipline. They show you how to connect the zipline and the seat for sitting on while ziplining. Additional items were included, such as a harness to ensure rider was secure all the way through the ride. No instructions were included for this hardware, just a few lines at the VERY end of the documents saying to step into the harness and attach it. No instructions on how to attach it. This can be figured out but instructions should be more clear.3. I’ve used a couple of different types of ziplines now. This one uses a heavy steel cable, which with the amount of tension you want on the wire, can really dig into a tree limb. Unfortunately, they did not supply any type of padding to put between the tree and the wire. The last one i used had wrapped the cable with a very sturdy but pliable plastic coating. If you purchase this item, I recommend finding something to put between the wire and the tree.The emergency break feature ( a spring on the cable that stops them before actually reaching the tree) they supply is a really great addition. Again, if you have ever used a zipline you’ll know it’s all fun and games until someone doesn’t stop before the tree…even with wrapping mats around the tree it can be painful. This extra feature is thoughtful and appreciated!Overall, this zipline will get the job done and has solid sturdy components. If the manufacturer would update the package with more complete, detailed instructions and ensure all pics match the actual product, it would be even better.

My husband talked me into ordering this for our kids and their neighborhood friends. I was a bit skeptical and thought it would be another toy that takes up space and sits unused. I hate to admit I was wrong, and our backyard is now a cool place for the kids to hang out and play. The kids love the zipline and spend hours taking turns zipping across our yard.The installation took around an hour, and the instructions were very helpful. I was nervous about the spring used as the brake, but its safety stopped everyone, including my husband, who is over 200 pounds. The adjustable height of the seat has been very helpful in adjusting to the different heights of the riders. Overall, it's been a huge hit, and I would highly recommend this product.

Okay maybe we don't have flying cars yet, but who knew we'd ever live in an age where you could buy a zipline-in-a-bag, all ready to set up in your backyard?Now, for all the parents out there thinking "you're building WHAT in your backyard?!", I will say that this kit does include all the right, quality components you'd need. The harness, brake, steel safety line, and climbing gear are all good quality (and standard sized, so they're easy to upgrade).If you haven't used or put up a zipline before, it's definitely worth sifting through a few youtube videos before you get started ("backyard zipline" is a good search term) to get familiar with the key components. And definitely invite one of those nosy neighbor's kids over to test it out first...

Lack of instructions is frustrating

This kit has a rachet system that helps tighten the zip line. My other system always had sag i could never get it tight enough.

My kit did not come with instructions. I tried to go ahead and set it up but ran into a couple of issues. First, I didn’t really have any thing that I found suitable to anchor both ends of the zip line to. I ultimately used a tree and the banister of my porch.I did my best at installing it without any instructions; honestly, when I was done I really didn’t feel too certain about the stability of the entire set. It might well I’ve been fine, but I’m really not sure and I didn’t want my grandkids putting all of their weight on it. So, I don’t think we’re gonna be using this. I’m pretty sure that this is going to go completely unused, all because I don’t have instructions.
