Another great product from Ruffwear! very lightweight and easy to adjust harness making it perfect for hikes and outdoor activities. i feel that a lot of the less-than-satisfied reviews are from consumers unfamiliar with the brand and how this harness was focused on being minimal/lightweight therefore people calling it "flimsy" or "cheap". I also felt the sizing was accurate and didn't have any problems adjusting the harness to size. At first i did think maybe it was too small but after some tinkering i realized it came packaged with the excess strap material tucked into the harness making it look like it was completely maxed out at first. we haven't tested it in the lake yet but I'm sure it will be quick-drying. both front and back leash attachment points seems to be sturdy. I was skeptical of the front attachment point because the pictures make it look thin. I was pleased to discover that it's a pretty thick piece of nylon with reinforced stitching. the only thing i didn't care for was the strap color on the specific harness I purchased it's more of a "salmon pink" than a "coral red" but Scout rocks it anyways lol TLDR: great sturdy lightweight harness, sizing was accurate, color description on this product could have been a bit more clear on the accent/strap colors.

My dog has been using this for a year and it has held up and works great. It fits her well and holds up even when she decides to pull. It makes me feel like she is much more secure and I have control rather than just using a collar to attach her leash. The colors are cute also. Highly recommend.

I love this harness and my dog does too. It fits my chesty Australian Cattle Dog and is light as a feather. Super tough too. Has a tiny pocket so I always have an emergency poop bag or two.

It's so light that my dog, who hates wearing anything, will tolerate it. That said, it would be even better if it didn't have to go on over his head, as that's the part that freaks him out most. I added a traffic handle to the top clip so I can grab my dog if needed. We use it for off leash hiking. I got used to the colors but would love it if Ruffwear made it in a few simple bright solids, like orange.

I've used Ruffwear Harness for my dog forever. I wish I would have known about this one a long time ago. The others I've use all had the hair sticking to them and it was a real problem dislodging it. This one - No Problem. Highly recommend this Harness. We have a Lab - so he is NOT a small dog and walks real good with this lightweight one. As far as Durability goes - would have rated it a 5 Star - but we have only been using it awhile. The other heavy-duty ones lasted. However, I Got new ones - because of Hair.

Lightweight, sturdy, color will stand out as it acts as a reflector.

I really like this brand when it comes to collars and leashes, I’ve had both of those items for years now and they hold up great. However this harness is absolutely not durable or sturdy. It’s very lightweight and seems like it would stay clean easily but my dog was able to rip out of it in the first use. Actually RIPPED the fabric in two! Maybe she’s just too strong of a puller and this was just a random happenstance, but I definitely won’t be trying this same harness again.

Great harness. ruffwear is the best. And, the colors were a great surprise! even nicer than I expected!
