I bought the black dress to take on a cruise with me. It is casual but can be dressed up with a shawl or scarf, etc. I am taking 3 completely different accessories to change up the look while on the trip. The material is a little heavier than I expected, which will be perfect for the colder temperatures I am expecting on the cruise. It is not a lightweight knit for summer months. Wear a size 1x perfectly. Got the 2x for the flow. 200 1bs. Have large tummy, big hips and extra large arms. I love it! It fit perfect on me, a little flowy. I cut the hem because I'm short, 5'2", but it required no hemming, it just fell into place.

Dress fit nice. It is stretchy material so no need to order a larger size than what you normally wear. I'm 5ft 4 in tall and it hit my ankles.
