Great story! Good message!
My son and I love this book, and every adult we've showed it to has as well. It's a wonderful story and the art work is just perfect for it.Thanks for a fun visual way of teaching my kids how God and His people are there for them!

It's a delight!
I just received my copy of MEG IS NOT ALONE, and this colorful, cheerful picture book is a treasure. It's such a sweet way to convey to children what a joy and blessing the church is to each of us! For anyone "alone or scared" or in need of help, God demonstrates His love through His people, the church. Thank you Megan, for sharing your story, and for using it to help us teach little ones the beauty of the body of Christ. I will be sharing it with families at our church!

There are so many things I love about this book!
I love reading this book with my children! They were fascinated that the book was about the author. I loved the details in the book that really bring it to life, like describing the coats, a happy then crying baby, "sneaking" snacks from the pastor's office. The illustrations were also amazing! So many different types of people included, representing the body of Christ as she really is - from all peoples! We have a son who uses a wheelchair, so I'm always excited when I see a character in a book who is also in a wheelchair. It's a simple way to show children that all types of people are important and loved and valuable, especially in the body of Christ. And when Meg and her dad are talking about church friends at the end, and Meg realizes that she's a church friend, too, I confess that I teared up. That's what I want for my children - for them to grow in their love for Jesus that spills out to love their brothers and sisters in a way that moves them to action. And I love that it wasn't some "big, showy" way that this happened; just a girl helping a baby feel better when he was crying. Thank you so much for this book!

Told from a mother's heart
Again, Megan Hills delivers another story to nurture the life of the church. In a gospel centered relationship story that isn't preachy, she speaks from the heart of Jesus to our hearts. Much like her book, A Place to Belong: Learning to Love the Local Church , she is growing the health of the church. See my 21 Jan 2022 review for more details.

A Must Have for Kids!
A beautifully written and illustrated story that is sure to capture children's hearts and prompt discussion about gospel living in the Church! This is one of my children's favorite books and makes a perfect gift to help shepherd a child's heart in the loving community of the Church!
