They’re simple, reliable, and surprisingly versatile even in 2025. I’ve been using this spindle mainly for making music mixes and archiving some older files that I don’t necessarily need on a cloud or external drive, and so far every disc has burned smoothly without a single error. The 52x write speed is more than enough for modern burners, and each disc holds the standard 700MB or 80 minutes of audio. I tested playback across a few older CD players (including one in my car that’s been picky with off-brand media), and every disc was recognized instantly. The silver surface is clean and uniform, though keep in mind it’s not the type with extra protective coating—so I’d recommend handling them carefully and storing them back on the spindle or in jewel cases if they’ll be used often. A nice plus is that they work equally well for data or music, making them a good option for anyone who still needs physical media for backups, sharing mixes, or archiving. Considering how some no-name brands can have higher failure rates, the reliability here is worth it. Bottom line: If you still use CD-Rs, Verbatim continues to be one of the most dependable names—these discs burn quickly, play without issue, and make a solid choice for both data and music storage. ## Frequently Bought Together - Verbatim CD-R Blank Discs 700MB 80 Minutes 52X Recordable Disc for Data and Music - 100pk Spindle Frustration Free Packaging,Blue - 100 Pack Maxtek Premium Thick White Paper CD DVD Sleeves Envelope with Window Cut Out and Flap, 100g - Verbatim DVD+R Blank Discs AZO Dye 4.7GB 16X Recordable Disc - 100 Discs Spindle Silver Frustration Free Packaging --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/436744-standard-cd-r](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/436744-standard-cd-r) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
