Excellent guitar for the price.
Excellent guitar for the price especially with all the accessories that come with it. Good quality guitar, well made and well finished. Looks and sounds great. Definitely recommend for a beginner as you get everything you need to get you up and running in the package.

Brilliant design
Love it. I already owned a Hush I-Pro so I knew roughly what to expect. Brilliant design providing a full scale guitar in a compact package. Well thought out case packed with extras (bag strap, guitar strap, tuner, cable, tools, battery, picks, headphones and polishing cloth). I can’t think of another ‘travel guitar’ with these features and I plan on using it and its electro acoustic sibling for live performance soon. Well done Donner

Lightweight and attractive.
The Good. The overall quality and finish, is top notch. It's an attractive guitar. It's lightweight and is a perfect guitar to travel with, and to practice upon. The pickups sound great, the electronics are quiet, and the earphones supplied are of a good quality. The headphones are quite useful (for those of us who want to confine our awful playing and many mistakes to our own heads...).The supplied case offers good protection and has plenty of space for stashing your guitar nick-nacks in, - polishing cloth, allen keys, plectrums, spare strings, jelly babies, etc.The "Mmmm, OK then..."As another reviewer has pointed out, the guitar comes "as is" and MUST be set up correctly by someone with experience. I too, found that the truss rod had very little tension on it, & the guitars action was all over the place. Similarily, the bridge was unadjusted and needed attention. As this is something you'd have to do with any factory fresh instrument, it's neither a plus or a minus. The Bad.The Bottom "support" is wobbly, wobbly, WOBBLY... It works, ..it stays in.., but that slight wobble is incredibly annoying. Future iterations of this guitar should redesign this support, preferably with a second point of contact to the guitars body, similar to the top piece.Also... the strap support is in such a bad place, that the guitar hangs really awkwardly, and tips forward so the front of the guitar is at a 45 degree angle and facing the floor. It needs moving, ...desperately.I bought this guitar with a specific purpose in mind, - I wanted a dedicated, midi capable, guitar, and this suits that purpose well. I have opted for the Tripleplay connect system and fitted the midi pick up between the bridge and the first pickup. I'm happy with the results, and despite the problems with the bottom support and awkward positioning of the strap. I will probably opt to use the guitar without the two shaped "supports", both because I find it more aesthetically pleasing, and because of that aforementioned wobble that so annoys me.Overall, I will, (hopefully..), be happy with the guitar itself, once its action and set up have been completed.

Excellent once setup.
Great budget guitar. This is my guitar No.11, bought for keeping in the lounge. I own a Gibson, Fenders, PRS etc. The only thing I'll say is it was in need of TLC when it arrived. I've polished the frets, changed the strings, conditioned the fretboard, lowered the action and lubed and slightly changed the cut of the nut (one sticking string). The amp allows you to hear the guitar and it's passable I suppose but I'm never gonna use it. The only issue left is that the grub screws on the saddles are rough and too long, once the action is lowered they protrude too much. Great for the price. The problem really would be that a real beginner won't do any of the above to make it great. That said, I've never yet bought a guitar perfectly setup to my liking. It won't replace any of my other guitars but it now plays and sounds great. Oh, and forget using the trem but that's again true of pretty much all budget guitars with a trem.

Clever design, great for travel but won't replace the real thing
Impressive design and good finish quality for a cheap guitar! The frets are smooth (and quite level given the price range). The mechanism to attach the rests is clever and quite sturdy. It's a little awkward to play standing up due to the weight balance, but you get used to it.Coming from Ibanez and Jackson's, the neck feels solid and not at all thick. My one complaint would be the action, it was extremely high when it arrived. It's got a two way truss rod (and as I've seen on other Chinese guitars, adjusts the opposite way compared to my other guitars). It needed several full turns of the truss rod to get it reasonably straight (with a small amount of relief). The real issue is that I was unable to get the saddles low enough to get the action where I like it. I ended up buying some new saddles and grinding them down so I could drop the strings a little, which didn't really work given the way the bridge works. So the action is a bit high, but for some quiet practice when travelling it's acceptable. The bridge and string mechanisms could be a lot better, sometimes tuning the guitar will actually pull the saddles backwards as there's not really enough room for the tuning and saddle system in the bridge. The concept is nice, but I'd like to see them extend it and maybe lock it in properly at both ends, more like a Floyd Rose. The pickups are ok, they're a bit low output compared to the Dimarzios I'm used to.All in all, for the price it's excellent, and probably the most innovative travel design I've seen!
