Item as described. Works great! I'm very happy with my purchase. We've had wallpaper on our tv wall since 2005 and this machine helped take off the wall paper like a pro. It saved it us so much time.

Using this steamer really helped with removing 30+ year old wall paper. Also, I appreciated the fact that there was not a bunch of water on our carpeted floor. BTW, this steamer HEATS UP (210 Degrees)! Great buy for the $$

We used this to take off 4 layers of wallpaper with one being the original from 1880. It had an extremely tough time getting the glue hot enough to release the 1st layer but the 3 layers on top of that came off with ease. Takes a few minutes to warm up but works well. Im not sure if anything would release the 145 yr old layer other than just chipping away by hand like we've been doing.

Wagner Spraytech 2439019 725 Wallpaper Steamer.This steamer works great. We did find out that when removing vinyl coated wallpaper that we had to go through and steam to remove the vinyl then go back and remove the paper and adhesive.Which is no big deal because this works so well and fast.

I had a wallpaper border I could not get down. Took me 6 hrs to remove one foot of border with chemicals and a small steamer. Once I got this steamer, I took the whole border down in 1 hr total for the room. I couldn't have done it without this steamer.

Quadrupled speed of removing two layers wall paper. I agree with other reviewers: went fastest by scoring top layer, removing it, then scoring and removing bottom layer. But you'll figure out what works best for your situation. Makes plenty of steam and I had no problems with sturdiness or durability of the machine.

I used this to remove some old wall paper border. I had tried the spray on removers without much luck. That took a lot of work and I still ended up gouging the wall. But this steamer puts out a ton of steam and once you get the process down it really makes it much easier and quicker to remove. I found it best to steam off the top printed layer first, then go back and saturate the remaining backing paper until it would scrape off fairly easily with a putty knife. Let the steam do the work. I found it works a bit better if there are some notches cut into the end to allow the steam to move across the the tool. I was able to remove all the border around this 10 x 12 foot room in about 2 hours. The hose is a bit stiff until you get some steam running through it. All in all, it was well worth the price paid. It takes about 10 -15 minutes to build steam when you first fire it up. But if you stop and start it will warm up much faster after that... It can be a little messy so make sure you cover anything you don't want to get wet. Makes a good humidifier for a house with wood heat too lol...
