Solid buy. Better than expected!
Just got these delivered and they look quite good on first inspection. The manufacture date on mine was 10/20 and expiration is 10/25 so it seems it's good for just a little under 5 years by the time it arrives. It's quite hefty and the packaging looks and feels good. Both of them came in white packaging which made me a little confused, but one had a sticker labeling it Cinnamon.I figured I'd open one of them up and went with the cinnamon one first. They are all packaged together and are all individually wrapped in what seems to be very thin plastic. Since it's packed so tightly they are all stuck in one block which comes apart fairly easily surprisingly. They are a little oily on the outside and have a slight pleasant cinnamon smell to them. I tried a bar and they taste pretty good honestly. They're plain, taste like cinnamon obviously, and pretty much inoffensive. The texture is kind of crumbly, but cohesive. It's not like compressed bar of powder though and is moist which doesn't dry out the throat. One thing I noticed is the high sugar content. One bar contains 31 grams of sugar which is quite high, especially if you're eating three of these a day as per the instructions. This doesn't concern me too much, because that's not where the intent was behind this product. It's made to be a stable food ration for emergencies which can handle varying environments, stay shelf stable for 5 years, and after all that's said and done be able to provide calories and energy for someone on the move or to survive for a longer period of time all while not making them feel more thirsty. All in all these bars are a solid buy and will provide security and ease for you knowing that you have something for emergencies.Summary:+ 5 year shelf life+ Packaging is solid and feels like it'll last+ Tastes good, mostly plain with hint of cinnamon+ Each bar is individually wrapped and come apart easily. (I don't think they'll last 5 years once you open the main bag though.)- It's not healthy, but hey you're trying to survive here.10/10 would buy again.Hope this review helped you all.

They’re emergency rations
They are emergency rations and, for what they are, they’re good. The outer packaging is fairly tough. The 9 bars inside are individually wrapped. All the packaging appears to be vacuum sealed. I was surprised that there appears to be a very fine coat of oil, presumably palm shortening, on the wrappers of the individual bars. It actually isn’t particularly messy, just noting it.The first 3 ingredients are: sugar, wheat flour, palm shortening. That should be an indication that this is not a snack. It has protein, carbs, fat, calories and copious amounts of sugar. That means it makes for pretty decent emergency rations but, nutritionally, it’s not a good choice for regular snacks or replacement meals.I do find the bars reasonably tasty. The flavor reminds me of a cinnamon sugar cookie with the slightest hint of coconut. The texture is grainy (first ingredient is sugar), if densely pressed. It truly doesn’t induce thirst, probably because of the palm shortening, but let’s be real; it may not make you thirsty but eating does increase your body’s need for water. But, if you were water rationing, it is helpful that eating it doesn’t make you thirsty.I think this makes for pretty good emergency rations, maybe backup food for camping or backpacking. It provides the protein, fat, calories and energy needed. It’s stable and packaged well as long as a little care is taken. It’s calorie dense for its size and it’s even tasty.

Haven't tried yet
I haven't tried these yet but have bought two packs. I keep it as part of my normal freeze dried food. I think for the price it makes a great snack element to my food and it helps pad my calories by 7 days. Probably not the most balanced diet but I plan on having two freeze dried meals and these as snacks.

3600 calorie emergency rations
With the way things are going here in America and with so much talk about the suffering that could come in 2024, it’s a good idea to be prepared. I have already purchased around 20 of these. 10 blueberry and 10 coconut and cinnamon. I’ll be adding another 20 next month. I’ve only tasted 1 of the blueberry bars and was pleasantly surprised by how good they taste. Not to sweet and enough of a taste of blueberry to be happy with the purchase. I haven’t tried the coconut ones yet but I’m sure they’re just as good. We have about 18 months of vacuum sealed and canned foods and if it gets used the bars will be the last items to eat. Each bar in individually packaged in a thin wrapping. The outer wrapping is vacuum sealed. Great taste, quick shipping and affordable.

I love these but so do mice
I actually love the taste of these. They are soft with a nice lemon flavor. I hadn't tried these before, just bought them for emergencies but after mice ate half my stash I figured I would sample a piece. The mice were right. Delicious. Try keeping them stored high off ground and certainly not in the boot of your car.

Great but haven't tried yet.
Seems like a great product. Like the packaging, compactness and longevity.
