Better than expected!
I was hoping to find a bed wedge set that did not have an odor and this product meets that. The quality of the foams and the covers are excellent! The back and knee wedges are firm but comfortable, the head support medium and the back support soft. All pieces have two covers, a thin muslin-like inside cover and a cushy outside cover. All covers washed well and fit back on the foam pieces. The zippers seem of good quality. I had to add something tied around the two back wedges to keep them from sliding during sleep but a large scarf worked well for that. I do slide down a little bit during the night but not off. They have been in use in my bed for two months so far.Update 5/2/23 - One of the covers developed a hole after two months of use so I contacted the seller. The seller replied promptly and sent me a whole new set! Wonderful communication and great customer service .

Made in China, but a very good product
I tried hard to find a comparable product made in USA or by a US ally, but I failed. As other reviews have stated, even when first opened this had no manufacturing odor at all. I still washed the covers before first use, but that initial washing seemed almost unnecessary. The covers handled the wash well and still looked new when I put them back on the memory foam pillows. The pillows provide firm support, but they are comfortable enough to sleep on. My experience has been that they do not slide significantly during the night.I got these in preparation for shoulder surgery. I let them air out for a few days (unnecessary) before first use, then experimented with finding comfortable positions. These separate pillows allow for a huge range of options, and I was able to find several positions that seemed likely to work for post-surgical recovery. I'm still using them, four weeks after surgery, and I sleep much better because they give me so many options for comfortable sleep. So far, there is no sign of wear or discoloration from use.If you're preparing for rotator cuff surgery or have some other reason why you will need to raise your head while sleeping, these are well worth the price.

Sleep through the night
I've been using for 2 months. I can usually sleep through the whole night now and my rest is much deeper. I love the adjustable back option for reading or sleeping. I let air out for a day upon receipt, but the factory smell seemed very mild to begin with. The cushion is firm, so it supports my back well. The leg rest helps keep me from slipping down through the night. For me, the pillow is too high so I may not use it to sleep, and I sometimes use the lumbar for a head pillow. I have a separate bamboo cylinder pillow if I want something for my lumbar, or I'll alternate between the included lumbar pillow and my bamboo pillow depending on what I'm needing. I have other pillows that I put under my arms on each side. I feel super supported for rest with this 5 piece set, plus my few other pillows. Also, the covers have zippers so you can wash the covers. The material is soft, so I do not feel any skin irritation.

Lifesaver for my Shoulder Surgery Recovery
I am so incredibly grateful for choosing this particular pillow set. I am a 5'9", 170 pound woman who has appreciated every aspect of this set. I needed a way to sleep elevated after shoulder surgery recovery and this has been perfect. The width, loft, softness, and incredibly flexibility of use of the different parts has been perfect. When sleeping fairly upright, I found using the leg pillow to be helpful in not slumping down through the night. During the day, I have used the head pillow as an arm rest while my arm is not in the sling. My husband has used the leg pillow behind his body along with regular pillows while we have taken in movies.I was hesitant to purchase the set because I could have spent less money on something with less parts, but decided that I'm sure we will find a use in the future for these as well. Now, knowing what I know, even if we never use these pillows again, it was well worth the money!I am 5 days out from surgery and will continue using this set for some time. I am a side sleeper, so the fact that I am able to sleep is magnificent.

whre is the Memory Foam?
You get five items. A small base (kind of like a bookstop) that props up the wedge and allow you to move; the wedge isteslfe that can now be moved up and down the wedge for the angle you prefer; a knee pillow to raise your knees for less pressure on your back; and two little pillows. One for your head and the other for your lower back. THESE LAST TWO PILLOW ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT HAVE ANY MEMORY FOAM. All the rest are simply hard cut foam wrapped in what looks like a mattrass cover. If you're bigger than most and weigh far more than my 150 pounds, the foam wedge may feel soft enough. For anyone my weight or lower it will feel like you are on hard foam. Zero memory. Deceptive advertising. A shame really, since I am sure it cost very little to produce so with added memory foam everywhere it would still be a very profitable item and would at least be comfortable. Also, all pillows move around too much. This may work for someone who is heavily medicated. All others should go elsewhere - but from what I have seen they are all the same aside from some being cheaper and some a lot more expensive. do not buy if you're looking for comfortable memory foam back support. Buy some cheap foam, cut it into a wedge and buy a flat king-size memory pillow.
