Great quality and excellent source of selenium!!!
The media could not be loaded. I have been taking this Solgar Selenium 200 mcg supplement for several weeks now, and I can really notice a difference in my well-being. I chose this brand because of its great reputation for quality and purity, and it has not disappointed me.I love that this selenium comes in the form of L-Selenomethionine, as my research shows it is one of the most easily absorbed forms by the body. Since incorporating it into my routine, I feel a better immune function and more energy throughout my day.Another plus is that it is yeast-free, non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegan-friendly, making it perfect for those looking for a clean and high-quality supplement. The tablets are small and easy to swallow, which makes them very convenient.I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to support their immune and antioxidant system with a reliable and effective selenium supplement. I will definitely keep buying it! ✅

Abnormal Pap/Dysplasia
After an abnormal pap smear during my annual exam, I got a colposcopy and was diagnosed with CIN II. While this is a fairly common diagnosis, I was very scared by this news. My gyno told me that I need to get the leep procedure done ASAP.After the initial shock, I consulted some doctor friends and they recommended that I take the observation route for 2 years (given my age of 27) with paps every 6 months, and go through with the leep if the dysplasia persists or advances to CIN III. This option seemed more reasonable to me.Not wanting to stay idle, I did a lot of research into how I could support the regression of this thing. My main takeaway was that I needed to eat right, exercise, and reduce stress, all of which I was doing casually but decided to put intentionality behind. I also found some support for these supplements, which I started taking immediately and religiously in addition to my normal magnesium supplement.Solgar Folate 1,333 mcgSolgar SeleniumThorne Indole-3-CarbinolFor the most part, I didn’t feel much difference aside from some interaction from the indole-3 with my birth control pill (caused some spotting), but I continued to take them every morning.I scheduled a colposcopy for 6 months after my diagnosis (with a new gyno since I was annoyed with the old one for not suggesting the observation option and jumping straight to leep). This new gyno (at a very reputable clinic) performed the colposcopy and agreed that it made sense for me take the observation route and laid out a plan for how we’d monitor it for the next 1.5 years.A week later, he called and said the colposcopy results were in and that the CIN had regressed completely in the 6 months since my diagnosis! I had CIN nada!! The joy!!!SO while this could have VERY LIKELY happened on its own with no work on my part, I wanted to share the supplements I took *just* in case they helped a little. I know this can be scary and the info online can be confusing, but you’re not alone girl! Good luck and stay positive.

Very strong smell
I compared a few brands and this was a good price per mcg and quantity. There is a strong odor every time you open the bottle. I took it to work to take with my lunch as it is suggested to take with meals. The smell is so foul, I try not to open it when any coworkers are around. Due to this, I may go back to my previous brand.

Great addition & quality
I love the selenium product so good. The quality is amazing and it is a great addition. I can tell the difference when I take selenium as I’ve had my thyroid removed. It is very helpful. I will purchase again and have.

Provides the highest adult dosage and form of Selenium for a daily supplement
I take a selection of vitamins and supplements daily. In deciding to incorporate these into my daily routine, and in order to determine as best I can what the proper supplements and dosages are that I should take, I've decided that this dosage of Selenium is important to include. The guidance I'm relying on, from Eating Well for Optimum Health: The Essential Guide to Food, Diet, and Nutrition among other resources, is that I should include Selenium, one of the trace minerals used by the body together with Vitamin E to provide our antioxidant defenses. The suggested amount of Selenium from the reading I've made is this 200 mcg dosage and in an organic form, either yeast-bound or as selenomethionine. The 200 mcg dose is at the high end of the recommended daily allowance for adults (usually found as 80-200 mcgs). These tablets are yeast free and the selenium is from L-selenomethionine, as the only active ingredient present. The tablets do not include any glutens, wheat, yeast, dairy products, soy, sodium, sugar or artificial preservatives, sweeteners or colors. It is recommended that selenium be taken together with Vitamin E since the two are more effectively absorbed into the body when taken together. My own choice for Vitamin E is another Solgar product: Solgar Vitamin E 400 IU Mixed Softgels D-Alpha Tocopherol and Mixed Tocopherols, 250 Count.I am not a long-time Solgar customer but have recently began to use their products and am satisfied with the quality..This is one of the better choices available on Amazon for Selenium tablets in my opinion. If I do later determine that there is an equivalent, or better, choice available, I'll update this review to provide that information.
