Great Large Watercolor Pallet!
I first got this product for a class; it's now my favorite watercolor palette! If you have watercolor tube paint, it is easy to squeeze some into the circular wells and let it dry--to paint more traditionally. Depending on how much you fill the slots, you can get a serious amount of paint in, so you might need a little patience to fully dry. The inside wells are large, so it's easy to mix colors, and I use the large circle wells for specialty colors like rose and burnt sienna (as I used all the other wells). I typically have red, yellow, green, and blue in warm and cool tones, so the eight wells are enough (plus the 4), but if you need more than that, you might want the smaller hexagonal pans you see around. It is a large pallet, which I enjoy, but it may be better for some. Typically, I use around 9x12 sketchbooks, which fit right in with my equipment and are portable enough with backpacks or shoulder bags. However, as a warning, they are not tiny. Regarding the material and price, I find this plastic pallet very sturdy, which is a huge plus! For plein air, it was also substantial enough not to blow away. I have broken one of these pallets, but that was on me as I stepped on it, and with the low price, it was not bad at all to replace. With this pallet, watercolor is easy to clean! When you are done with your colors, just take a wet paper towel or rag and wipe it down. You can also let them dry and rewet them later with a spray nozzle or paintbrush to keep the colors. There is no lid, so keep that in mind. Sometimes, I would bring a gallon plastic bag, a bad piece of paper, or saran wrap when traveling to place on top to make sure I did not stain anything else in my bag, but if you wipe it up/let the top layer dry, you should be fine, and it is easy enough to work around. I was traveling around with it for a couple of weeks, so that is probably more unique, and if you are keeping it in your house, you will be fine. Actually, some people used the plastic packaging, and it came in as a slight protector to any paper that might want to soak it up, so that's a small hack if you are on the go with this! It will fit perfectly over, but it could be more sturdy, so be careful when reinserting it.I would rebuy this product (and I have)!

Like the different size and type of wells
I am using for my watercolor art. I use tube paints, and find this is a great palette due to the multiple size and type of wells. Gives me plenty of area for blending and wetting paints. The plastic does stain a bit from stronger pigments, but not as much as some palettes I’ve used and this isn’t a problem. Cleans easy, and lightweight for those who travel with their painting tools.

Nice Palette, Packaging Could Be Improved
I just received my palette, and I'm pleased with product, including its size, weight, and sturdiness. My complaint is that it was shipped in only a thin cellophane sleeve (no box), and in transit 7 of the wells got scratched or gouged in some way. I take care of my art equipment, and I dislike receiving a "new" item that's already worn or damaged. If I didn't need to use it now, I'd request a replacement and hope for a better outcome. Other than it being dinged up due to poor packaging, this seems to be a solid palette that's a good value for the money.

I LOVE this pallet!
I bought this pallet because my old one was extremely stained and impossible to wash any more. I LOVE it! While it is quite large, it just means I have a lot of room to blend colors. I use it with watercolor and guache for painting the edges of books, and I love that I can fit so many colors on at once!

Works great

Good size
I use this pallette for gouache and it's great. I particularly like the angled wells so I can transition one color from thick to thin by adding water further down the slope. Great for the price.

Large Paint Palette
Affordable paint palette for mixing paint, this is my 2nd purchase. If you’re looking for a larger paint palette that is easy to clean, this is a good choice.

Useful for mixing paints, but...
This palette is sturdy and has a large enough mixing area for watercolor paints. The only thing i didn't think about it, since it is plastic, the paint beads up instead of mixing easily with water. I solved the problem by rubbing a glue stick into the mixing area, and using my finger to rub it in and then took a paper towel to wipe the residue off, which helped a bit. As time goes on, and the shiny mixing area dulls a bit from use, it won't be a problem. Next time around, I believe i will spend the money and purchase a ceramic palette.
