Hathaway Solid Wood Ladder Toss Game Set Brown

This is a great wooden ladder ball set and a great price. Easy to set up and appears very durable and sturdy. Comes with directions and a nice carrying case. The balls are made out of real golf balls, which is nice.

Really liked the quick easy set up. Do hesitate to pull the trigger on this set.

It's very easy to assemble, but flimsy. One of the wooden cross-bars split where it screws in within the first couple of days of use. It's no longer usable. I'll need to see if they sell replaceable parts, otherwise straight to the trash it goes. I haven't tested their customer service yet, but will update this post once I do.

Product broke after only a few uses..

The wood frame holds up, but the screws are garbage. Plan on replacing every one of them. Otherwise this is lots of fun.

Far better than the Ladder Golf brand wooden set which fell a part and would always fall down while putting it together. This one is sturdy, looks great and is easy to assemble.

Excellent quality

This is a decent product, but needs some quality control regarding the threads on the metal fasteners (Lock Knobs).The threads are not finished on the end as they should be in order to start smoothly into a metal fitting without cross threading.This wooden set is much better than the plastic sets I've owned in the past.

Fun for everyone

What sounded like a great product has turned out to be an ill-conceived waste of money. The frame itself is made of relatively soft pine, which on its own isn't a problem. However, the balls included with the set are essentially painted golf balls -- very heavy. Lightly tossing the balls at the frame causes noticeable damage when the balls hit the wood. After a few games, the dents were hard to miss. The worst part was when one of the balls contacted the frame where the cross-brace connects to the side. It actually broke the wood and rendered the set useless. There's been no aggressive misuse of the game. There's no way I should be buying wood glue and clamps to fix this after a few days of using it as intended. Either make the frame out of stronger material, or include balls that are lighter and don't inflict damage!

We bought four sets for our children’s families and none of them are any good! Nuts or knobs don’t work! A waste of money!
