Beatrice Home Fashions Medallion Chenille Bedspread, Twin, Ivory

I purchased a new Queen mattress and adjustable base but my old spread didn't go all the way to the floor on the new set and I like to use under my bed for storage and didn't want it to show. I purchased this in a king and it is perfect size all the way around. Add to that it is beautiful & reminds me of my bedroom as a child. I put it in the dryer with fabric sheets when it arrived to fluff it up and put it on my bed immediately. Very little lint and no odor and no ironing needed. I bought Sage color and it is not too thin or see through. It is light enough that I don't have to struggle to get it centered and make the bed but weighted enough to be comfortable. I love everything about it and it makes me smile every time I enter my bedroom. Good price too!

UPDATE: Well I spoke too soon! I received my third Queen spread. I ordered blue and it is definitely green!! I sent it back. I will order White which was my second choice. Oh wellThis is my second spread… 2 twins for my vintage bedroom and 1 king for my guest bedroom. I am getting ready to buy a queen for my bedroom! Needless to say, I am very happy with this bedspread. Pros are many… beautiful colors to choose from, nice balance of chenille design to cotton fabric, big enough to lay over your pillows AND tuck under them (like a bedspread should!), soft and lightweight while sleeping, great look and weight for a Florida home, washes well for a chenille spread. And can we say enough about the price? Very reasonable. Con’s: could be wider so it doesn’t need a dust ruffle to give it a more finished look.I know people complain about the chenille shedding. I expect some shedding but I don’t have it clinging to me. Maybe because I wash it before using it. I wash my spreads after every guest visit and that’s often living in FL. I’m not seeing any tears or unraveling of seams nor wear of the cotton fabric. I wash in cold water, extra rinse.I would buy them again and again especially at this price point.

Color: gold, Size: queenThis is a quality chenille bedspread. I noted some reviews said fabric was thin so I was a bit concerned when I ordered this spread. However, it is exactly as how a chenille bedspread should be made. It is from India and very well made. I washed in cold and tumble dried low as care directions recommend. Color did not fade, and I don't believe there was any shrinkage occurring. It is 100% cotton so if dried on higher heat it likely will shrink. The sides of bedspread to not drape all the way to the ground, which is what I prefer. The corners at foot of bed will drape to the ground. The gold fabric is a deep color which I love. The bedspread is long enough to adequately cover up bed pillows so pillow shams are really not needed for that purpose. The price makes this an extremely good value compared to several other chenille spreads I considered.

This is very thin material. You will need an opaque white layer right under it if you have colored or patterned sheets. Also, after only a couple of months and 1 washing I see a little tear. Nevertheless, I love it. The overall pattern is lovely and the "fuzzy" chenille bits are just what I wanted. It doesn't pull or make lint. The fringe is "finished", not fuzzy or coming apart. Width is just right (hangs to a couple of inches from floor), ditto length (will cover over pillows if desired). Basically, it looks more expensive than it is, and worth it even if you have to replace in 3-5 years

Looks great on the bed. Love the design and pattern. Very good quality overall. fits bed well and is easy to handle. These type of bedspreads are very hard to find and at usually twice this price.Size:queenColor:brownQuality:excellent

love, love,love this bedspread. ordered two , have raised king bed., which is 2 twins .these bedspreads are just perfect .ordered a different set had to send them back , no color. love this set now ordering the pillow shams.

This is a beautiful bedspread and lightweight. So lightweight that my dog has already ripped it with his nails. It also sheds in the dryer and o have washed it many, many times. For the right household it would probably be great but for dogs, buyer beware. It’s not really soft easy. It’s truly a cover in my opinion. If you want warmth, this is not going to provide that.

Absolutely beautiful and perfect color. The only problem is I'm so OCD it takes awhile to get all the lines in the bedspread lined up and the medallion centered. 😆 And I got the shams to match. Perfect for just enough warmth and coolness!!! All I need now are curtains to match.
