AIRHEADRiptide 3 Towable Tube for Boating, 1-3 Riders

3 grandkids ages from 10-22 love this. Sits well, but not too snug or deep as previous 3 seater we owned. I’d highly recommend this for kids of all ages. A great tube to acclimate younger children tubing! 3 is perfect. They talk and have a great time with each other. I even like it with a nice, comfortable tube back and extremely difficult to flip. It does move easily around and gets “air” if given the right amount of speed and current.

I also bought the pump to go with the Airhead Riptide. Very easy, and fast, to fill. Durable--good quality. This is a blast toride on! We had people from 10 to 69 yrs old riding it (and getting dumped!). It's a really good price, it was shipped quickly,and just get ready for a great time!

Fun for big kids or adults. Purchased seating style floatation as a riding float. Small body weight individuals can not lean back strongly enough to prevent water from getting over the front edge & causing the nose to dive. Sliding individuals down the front & pulls them underwater under the floatation device. Once a strange current developed that pulled the small person up & down repeatedly struggling to keep head above water. Short time but very frightening.Nose dives underwater & this occurs >50% of the time when slowing down to stop ride/ switch riders.

Stitching came apart where rope connects. I had it reinforced and still didn't last.

Huge. Super stable, easy for young riders. Also flies quite flat when you launch off big waves. As I said, it’s huge, which means you should be prepared for a large amount of drag on your boat. Don’t use old tow ropes.

Sits high. Keeps buns from getting beat up. Great ride

Previously had a great ride and value Costco tube that mice destroyed over the last winter. The Rip-tide maybe safer for young riders (grandchildren). At the end of season I stuffed the Kwik Tek Riptide into a jumbo plastic garbage pail hopefully to avoid another mouse disaster. Even when fully deflated it is very bulky and heavy. Too big for the largest storage boxes!

This is a very stable large tube. The family loves it. We have put it through its paces and it has held up.The only complaint I can think of is when the unit is deflated, the bladders can flip and twist. This causes misalignment of the filler valves with the cover holes. Thankfully there are large zippers to access the inside of the cover to reposition the bladder and align the holes for inflating.

High quality shell with low quality tube. Not sure what happened to bladder but there's a 2' high bulge in the center making it difficult to use for rider. Must have a center interior baffle that let loose.Its huge, kids love it but not sure how long it will last. Not looking forward to shipping it for warranty etc. Its heavy as_______.
