Works great. Has become my favorite trimmer. Takes a single AA battery, which is easy to swap for a rechargeable type. I originally bought it just to travel with but now I use it all of the time. Does not knick my skin even with guard removed. Only two trimmer guards included but gratefully, one was the perfect length. Comfortable to use.

I had one just like it for years..needed a new one ..it’s light can run for hours on one battery..it’s great for facial hair in and on ears.

I received this little monster today and immediately put it to use to remove all the hair in my scalp. Its TINY, smaller than I thought it would be. It is well designed. Its kinda odd and very cool to see that someone working for Wahl actually has an eye for industrial design.I was afraid it was not gonna be powerful enough for trimming your head, but it performs admirably, and without giving me cuts, which other trimmers tend to do when they are new. The fact that it uses a normal AA battery instead of being rechargeable is a huge plus, I dont have to worry about the battery dying, losing power, or having to bring a charger around.The only con I can think of is that it does not come with a case, but priced under $20 its not enough to knock a star off it.

I've only used it a few times. It works well and seems solid. I find the small size a little awkward for my hand. I'm afraid I'm going to drop it. As I'm using it on a boat and shave on the aft deck near the rail, it could be a disaster! I'm also concerned that it only uses one battery, not three as the old one. Time will tell.

Great little trimmer

I bought this for my travel purpose. It is small and battery operated instead of cable.However, during my very first use, it just stopped working completely. I changed to a new battery, but it was broken. I contacted Amazon customer service and fortunately, they are sending me a new unit and I am returning this defective one. hopefully it is an isolated incident.

It seems to work okay, not as good as others I’ve had. The biggest issue is the button to turn it in and off is not quite attached and so it is hard to turn on and off.

Having gone with a really short haircut, travel that lasts longer than five days starts to make me feel less styled than I would like. This thing takes a while to use if you are trimming your whole head like I do but the battery life is good (I did two haircuts and three shaves without killing one battery) and not having to find a barber in a foreign country is a real gift. Same wahl quality in terms of cutting and it fits well in your hand. Weighs less than a normal tube of toothpaste.Could be quieter but that’s a small price to pay. Not like people down the hall can hear it.Definitely going in my pack from now on.
