It is certainly more lightweight. However, I did not anticipate the holes being an issue when rounding the edges for normal application. I should have as it seems obvious now. So as long as you think and plan ahead, it's alright, but it takes longer to cut and more planning than usual so you don't have little pieces peeling at the ends.

This tape does what it is supposed to do but I have a problem when I'm shipped an item that is past its expiration date. Didn't expect this from Amazon.
