PrimulaCheese 'N' Prawns 140g

My guilty pleasure I love this on crackers or bread it’s quite salty which I love but not for all, spreads lovely haven’t done anything else with it.

Quite some time ago, there was a scare in one supermarket with this prawn version of Primula cheese. Then it disappeared completely from all stores except Morrisons. It is brilliant for snacks of all sorts, even luxury blini with chalk stream trout or smoked salmon. Or bruschetta with fancy toppings.

Great on toast or as a snack

Too much salt in this now! Disappointed.

Currently on offer (£1.25) in-store at my local Morrisons; this is my favourite out of a number of different flavours in the Primula range; a smooth and easily dispensed tube of cream cheese, I love this on flavoured crackers (Morrisons own Rosemary/ garlic/ Salt & Pepper Scalloped crackers) or on Nairn`s oatcakes.All cheeses are currently insanely expensive due to this uncaring, lying government's mismanagement of the economy, so grab anything reduced when you see it.One of the few affordable luxuries – albeit limited to my area – but keep an eye to the shelves where you live!Isn't it sad that a staple food is now too expensive for decent people to buy without having to consider their budget?
