Q: i need a motor for a fan on a refrigeration system the current one is 1/16 hp and the dimensions are 4 x3 which is not totall critical will this work

Power comparison 1/16 hp = 46.6 watt, this motor is a 30 watt motor capacity, depends on fan speed and rpm comparison, so close enough most likely, but rpm speed should match with PLUS OR MINUS say 80 %. This motor is not a fan forced cool system, but being in an air stream would be good for cooling anyway, assuming normal household temps. Big question is the motor shaft size, this has a fairly long shaft, I think, must match the diameter of the fan blade, or vice versa. Check the spec's but I think this motor has an 8 mm diameter shaft.

Possibly. You will need some type of voltage regulator. Test it out first with a voltmeter. Figure out how much juice you will need, volts and amps, first. Cool idea. If it was me, I would use a battery from a portable drill, since come with a charger already. Besides, it only takes a couple of D size dry cells to power a bunch of LEDs. Sounds fun and cool, keep it as “light” as possible. I had an 80 cc shifter custom made. The engine was super tuned by a custom builder in Sacramento. I checked the speed with a GPS from my sailboat. 92 mph in the straight. For oil I used Hydrotex. It’s a custom blended oil that’s banned from nascar. It’s that good. That thing was so hot, my brother took it for a spin and scared him so bad, he said I was crazy to have one. Maybe so, but it was mine. Good luck.

No, it can not be worked on a scooter life, since it is a high speed motor with low torque and no brake function, so It cannot be used for lifting. It can be widely used for cotton candy machine, small cutting bench, grinding machine, medical equipment and other mechanical equipment
