Great pair of shears and amazing customer service from Recon Medical! Used these to put together a GSW kit for my pickup and they are sturdy, cut through damn near anything, and comfortable and quick to use. Recon Medical sent followup emails to make sure they worked out for me, would definitely buy from them again!

Exactly what I expected. Sturdy and simple, these will easily cut through articles of clothing and are at a great price point.

These shears are budget friendly and will work great when the need is to add to multiple kits. They are definitely not the top of the line shear. When I have tested them they do cut; however, at times I had to focus on position of my hand/shears to cut smoothly. I do not use shears daily so they are a perfect fit for my needs. I absolutely love Recon Medical as a company.

The shears themselves appear to be of good quality. The issues is the same as others have had, you only get 1 pair not the 2 advertised. After triple checking my order there is no way the mistake could be on my end. Amazon should remove this item or change the listing

They work well

This is one of the best "EMT" type shears. It will cut through several layers of gauze where some of the others just bind, and fail to cut. This Recon shear has earned a place in the medical kit.

The shears cut thick cloth (heavy denim) and plastic zip ties well, in my initial test. I haven't had them long but I think they'll be perfect for my vehicle's emergency med kit.My beef is that the product description is "2 pack" but only one pair of shears showed up. That's a sadness. Would have liked to have one for my TQ kit too.

They are not sharp enough to cut thru clothes in the ER but good bandage shears
