Actual screen area is 45x31, which is closer to 16:11
This screen is definitely interesting and I hope WEMAX ends up making more shapes and sizes. Be aware it is not 16:9 but more like 16:11 with the actual screen area measuring 45" x 31". That's not necessarily a bad thing, and it could be remedied by shaving off part of the included stick. However, it does end up showing effective letterboxes which are cosmetically not so nice. The ambient light rejection is excellent, and it's a great combo with the Aaxa P6X (measured 700 lumens) and a small travel tripod. Be aware this screen doesn't love UST or ultra short throw projectors. Yes, they work, but then the viewing angle changes pretty dramatically and you might be worse off than using a regular short throw instead of an ultra short throw.Definitely worth a buy, turns a good pico projector into a 50" TV!

Screen curls when deployed, causing light to bounce across projected screen
The screen, when deployed upward, begins to warp inward on its edges because it lacks the tensioning strings or rods of larger displays. As a result, the anti-glare/glare-rejecting aspects of the display actually cause light to be reflected backward onto the display itself, as seen on the left and right edges of the display in the attached photo. I can feel that the screen is very high tension in an attempt to counter this because it's actually quite difficult to raise the screen out of the cannister and into position on the small pole that's meant to hold the display aloft for presenting; the issue is that much of the tension across the screen appears to be centered on the actual center of the screen and not on the edges of the display screen as would be needed in order to remove wrinkles.Speaking of wrinkles, the upper edge of my display has been marred by refractory cracking or splintering of the display surface. Those may look like smudges, but they appear to actually be cracks on the interior of the screen. While gently running my finger over them, I could not detect them with my fingertips, and when the screen arrived at my door the box was in pristine condition, so it appears to be damage from the factory.Overall, I cannot advise the purchase of this otherwise price-conscious brand. The cracked display, most visible at night, and the display curling which does not appear to be easily fixable are outright dealbreakers for me and this will unfortunately need to be going back tomorrow.

NICE picture - light weight - small footprint - outer 2" of sides curl forward
We've only recently got on the ''projector'' train, so I was pretty excited to getthis portable screen to sit on the edge of our bedroom dresser for watching Netflix with ourLenovo projector tablet.(And to see if we'd be able to view our OLD family slides after all these years) below.> The screen has good picture with the LENOVO tabletThis is easy to sit up / use / put away / small footprint to store.> It's light weight which allows this to VERY easily tip overyou've really got to watch were you sit it.The spring of the screen is taunt which makes the screen nice and flatEXCEPT for the outer 2" that tend to curl forward.BECAUSE of only one center pole and none on the sides. It comes well packagedIn the small amount of research I did it's said that a gray screen absorbs the ambient lightwhich strikes it better than a white screen does. > Which is what this is.Overall a decent screen - but I feel a bit over priced.----------------------------As far as slides go = they do show up on this screen BUT they aren'tas crisp / clear / bright as they are on a white background.

bright, vivid picture. edges are an issue
I'm really disappointed in the design of this projector. it could have easily been a five star screen if they had thought to put a support on each side of the screen. the middle is nice and clear due to the support pole running through there, the sides however are left to curl and distort the image when used full screen.i think that this is a fabulous material that really made the image pop. the color wasn't washed out like the white sheet type of screens. it really does add contrast. and the portability of it is awesome. i really like the way they utilize the base to store the support piece so that it doesn't get lost. its really great for storage or for travel due to the compact design. its also really lightweight as well.i got this with the intention of using it while camping and feel it would work well for that.the side curling, waving problem however means that i would have to use this at 75% of the stated size. while that might still work on a larger screen its a huge issue on a smaller size like this.

Low Quality for the Price
The screen isn't bad in the center, but the edges tend to fold inward and present an uneven viewing surface. It's not as portable as you'd like if you're carrying it yourself.Pay attention to the size and weight, as they're not negligible, and it takes a bit of coordination to set it up without it rolling back up violently. If you have a really niche use case for it, it's not bad, but I'd prefer other options (a fixed screen, or something easier to carry) in most circumstances.
