I can't figure out why it's so difficult to get male-female barrel connectors on here. In any case this seller very thoughtfully sells the male and female connectors separately. Thanks for that.As far as the connectors themselves, they work. The plastic covers are decent. They screw on and off which is nice but the threads are fairly weak. The connectors also do not mate completely, leaving a gap. But yes, they do work.

They are super cheap. The plugs are about 2mm too long so they hang out once they are plugged in, and the plugs don't have any spring retention to actually hold the plug in place. They will work for a little while, but I expect to replace them soon.

It met my purpose. So far working great!

At the time that I had to buy these, I had to buy the male separately from the female. I made sure both the male and female barrels were the same brand (HTTX) and measurements.The plastic casing is so cheap/flimsy that it will break down and buckle if you try to plug the male into the female.If you hold it just right, pinching the casing so you're really gripping the wire-connect collar instead of the casing, you can plug the male into the female. At that point the male end seats into the female with a solid inch of electrically-hot male barrel protruding from the female part. I mean that it does not seat solidly at all.Several of these things got plugged in and then wouldn't come apart.Just total garbage.

They do the job just fine.
