This is a great stuffy. It’s soft and cuddly, and nicely weighted. We did weigh it and it’s a little less than 5 pounds, but it still gives a good amount of compression. It really helps my 7 year old with sensory issues. It hugs his body perfectly and is very comforting. Great quality! I highly recommend!

I have a six year old Autistic grandson. He just started wanting weighted blankets. It was hard carrying 12 pound blanket to bus, school. So I found this and he loves it. Gives him the comfort he needs. It doesn’t replace blanket at night.

Good for adults! I use the lap pad in my office as an therapist for adults. Some clients won't touch it, but those who do generally love it feeling the weight as an immediate comfort.

My adult son has autism and he used to have a service dog that would help calm him. Unfortunately the service dog had a bad bleeding tumor and died. This weighted puppy is the only thing that has comforted my son since then. It’s really cute and reminds him of the dog he lost. I would recommend to anyone who finds weighted pressure soothing or who needs a cuddle to help calm them.

I got this for my 12 yr old son who's about 85lbs. It's not as heavy as he needed, which I kind of anticipated. The awesome thing about this is it has a zipper to open the body so you can add extra weight. I just used a small zippered pillow case and bought weighted craft filler. Got another 2lbs added to it, which was perfect. Most younger kids wouldn't need that but my son needs a lot of pressure. The only real downside is if you aren't adding weight to the middle section, it only is weighted in the limbs. I would have assumed it was more evenly distributed throughout the entire thing. Very good quality though and should hold up for years.

Sheds allot and it’s very thin/floppy u can add something to make it fuller. Not happy with it will be returning.
