fits with modifications depending on year and make model
part is great. nice quality oem part for my f150. NOTE: motorcraft does not make the exact replica for a 1987 f150 4.9 300 engine. with that said like in the description you may have to drill out the pilot/pin hole for this to mount correctly. if you don't have a dremel tool with a grind wheel it will be easier if you remove the whole power steering mounting bracket to drill the holes bigger. once I installed mine to solved my squealing issue with belts. every single tensioner I would buy that was not motorcraft would just squeal within one day of installing it.

Not OE quality
Doesn't seem to be up to Motorcraft spec. Failed within a few days ruining the belt. Cheap Napa replacement I had to get to get by in the mean time is still going well a few weeks later now.

Ford 1995 F150 4.9L XLT
Purchased this for my 1995 Ford F150 XLT 4.9L 300 online manual transmission.Super easy to install. Just as good as original for 1/3 the cost.

bearings bad on arival
Bearings were bad right out of the box on the idler pulley. i had to install the pulley off my oem part, luckely i needed it due to a bad spring not bearing otherwise i would not of been able to use. i have a susspision that the part was preveusly returned by someone who switched out pulleys and sent back and no one noticed it upon receiving the return.

Aftermarket next time for this part. It does work.
I thought buying motorcraft would get me the best quality and usually does. On this however, the pulley is plastic and says dayco. Im sure it will hold up and it did fit well. I feel I would have got the same quality with aftermarket brand.

No more ruckus from the belt slip
My truck now starts up after sitting a day with no fuss. Noticed when it came time to install the belt that there was A LOT more tension on this than the previous 150k + mile original.

Best
I like the motorcraft tensioner it has a 3/8 square in it to pivot.
