I have lost the bolt and washer that comes with this handle. How can I purchase more?

I would take it to your local home depot or Lowes with the thickness of your door you wish to install it on to fine the thread size of the bolts in black that might match. Take a picture of it from your amazon order so they can see what your trying to replace. Good Luck and merry Christmas

does this handle come in a smaller version, like 10"?

Does backplate require routing to achieve flushness

It does need routering to sit flush as is. I think it looks horrible if you mount it as is as it leave a big gap. They could easily remedy it with a nice closed cell foam or plastic gasket to fill the gap. I personally used my dremel and cut the spot welds holding the bottom piece to the top piece and mounted it without.

It’s nice enough

I bought this to go on the interior side since my bathroom is white. I used half of this system for the interior. I actually think the interior piece could be a little deeper so you can fit your fingers in the indentation to slide it open or closed more easily. You’ll understand when you buy it. Anyway, it’s not for long in my house since my husband hates the barn door. We’re scrapping the whole apparatus. ( eye roll again) . There’s no reason not to use this though if you are sticking with the barn door.
