Nice tool and worked for my sway-a-way shocks!
Had some high end off-road shocks that had steel 3/4" NPT fittings in a precision machined piece of aluminum that had to be loosened and re-tightened very delicately and this tool worked perfect. Handled 75ish foot pounds no problem. Very happy with tool.

I had to grind down the edges to fit around my Skid steer cylinder. Once that was done it worked great. I was able to tighten the spanner teeth in real well so they didn't fall out every time I use it. Which happens with my larger gland wrench.

Sturdy implementation of this specialty tool
This is made for repairing and maintaining hydraulic cylinders such as are used on many kinds of equipment. Getting the correct tool is much better than hacking away with improvised tools or a pipe wrench. Ask me how I know :).Metal is plenty strong enough for the task and the inclusion of two different sizes, each adjustable, covers many different cylinders.

First of all, yes it does work the first few times. As a full time tech, it’s gonna snap. Also, you’ll have to grind the insides of the wrench to clear the rod or your pins won’t drop in on some cylinders
