Perfect replacement for older Minka Aire Concept II
Love my 15 yr old Concept II fan that has lightbulb instead of LED. Old switch failed and this was a perfect replacement. Wires clearly marked, simple to install. Works great!

Worked Perfectly Just like my Handheld Remote.
This unit works PERFECTLY. I really like the fact that this product is only the transmitter. I didn't need the receiver nor did I want to grab a ladder and swap it out as it works just fine. I also like the fact that this product is hardwired like a standard wall switch and you do not need batteries like the hand held remote. The ceiling fan remote wall control has the same 4 dipswitch set up as the Hampton Bay fan that I bought in 2011. I matched the dipswitch setting to my current handheld remote. The wires on the unit are clearly marked. One goes to your power line/hot wire and the other goes to your fan load. And the green, of course, goes to your copper ground. All buttons functioned perfectly including the reverse. When your fan is in low speed, just press reverse and it will reverse direction. You would think that the blade needs to stop first before pressing reverse, but that will not work. The blade needs to be moving to trigger the reverse switch. I bought one of these to check out first. Now that I know it works, I am ordering another one for a 2nd fan that I have. I can now lose the hand held remote.

Inferior product that the company does not stand behind
I bought this to replace the same control that came with my Hampton Bay fan. The original controller was wired in the wall, and after about 9-10 years, it stopped working. I replaced the original with this one, and it worked for about two months and then quit. None of the buttons work. It is not the fan, as I can connect the fan to a normal electrical switch and it turns on fine. Clearly this controller is defective or made with very poor quality components. The company does not stand behind this product and refused to replace it. I would not recommend buying this, especially considering the high price. Very disappointed that they are selling an inferior product and not standing behind it. I wouldn't feel good about buying anything from this company. Amazon should do a better job vetting suppliers they allow to sell on their platform. This experience makes me question the quality of other goods sold by third parties on Amazon.

Exact replacement for Minka Aire UC9501T wall control unit
If you're electrically handy, change-out takes about 15 mins including testing of the new unit. Wires are clearly marked, ensure to set the DIP switches on the new unit to match those on the old.If you're reasonably handy and have the time, the old switch disassembles easily. Disassemble to expose the backs of the rubber function select buttons. Gently "erase" the tops of the electrical contacts under the buttons on the circuit board with a white eraser, then clean the black carbon portion of the rubber function buttons with a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol. Reassemble, re-install, and you're done! Easy-cheesy, takes an hour or less.

Perfect Replacement for old Minka Aire Fan
I have a very old (from 1999) Minka Aire Viper fan. This fan included the WC103 in-wall control AND a handheld remote. Either control would control the fan as long as the 4-position dip switch matched the code set on the receiver built into the fan. After 22 years, the fan still works great BUT the original in-wall control died. This control is an exact duplicate of the original except that it includes a "reverse" button that changes the direction of the fan blades. The original handheld remote included this button but the original wall switch did not.In any case, this switch works fine (including the reverse switch) for my old Minka Fan.This exact same switch may also be purchased as Anderic UC-9051T or Hampton Bay CHQ9051T (just search the web).

Easy to install
The remote I relpced became hard to press in order for it to work until it stopped working altogether. This one is easy to use, I hope it lasts as long as the fan

Soooooooooooo Niiiiiiiiiiiccccccceee!
This switch is a replacement for the only thing similar that I could find a few years ago. That switch didn't work well at all and we are so happy with this new one! Installation is easy but one must make sure to wire this properly or it probably won't last long. If you hook the wires up backward you wind up powering the switch in the reverse direction and while things might work okay for a while, it can't be good to do this.We have a Hampton Bay Delano which is a very nice looking fan and since it is no longer offered we didn't want to just throw it out and get a new fan.My wife who has the patience of Job was willing to put up with our fan and it's bad switch for a while and when we finally discovered we could get one on Amazon we ordered it right away. Our receiver number is UC7067RYAI. Now on the side it has a label UC7067YAI so although I figured the "R" is for reverse now I don't know since both labels with different model numbers are on the same receiver. Which is representative of what I discovered in my lengthy search for a new remote wall switch.I think if you are able to wire this yourself or can get an electrician who will do it for you that you will be glad you bought it. It is very nice and though we liked our fan when we could only get one speed and no lights out of it previously, we are really thrilled having it work properly now.
