I'm writing this bc when I initially received this item, I couldn't figure out how to open it. There's a small tab w/ the blades that has to be pressed down to release the clippers and I wasn't able to budge it. Later, I realized that it simply took some more effort to release. It was great for cutting my cat's nails since it is very sharp and also has the protective piece that means you can't go too far into the nail's quick or blood supply. Great tool so sorry I bashed in first review.

Although it handles well, my dog doesn’t stay still. This creates a little problems trying to keep him still, holding his paws and nails still to clip his nails makes it a little hard to do.

These are very easy to use! I had bought a fancy pair with a light and a guard. Sometimes more expensive and fancy doesn't mean better.

Took some time to learn. But great quality for the price.

These clippers work well. Very sharp. They seem to close after every snip which isn’t ideal.
