These are standard XL size and detailed size information is in the fourth picture in the product page.

How do I order large?

You can't. I wouldn't buy. I'm Large as well and these were way too big. I had to pull out the old sewing machine to make them smaller around the waist and chest.

Are these see-through?

These are visible and can be seen at night.
