Adore this cream. Seeing the ceremide capsules on the first spread never fails to satisfy me and they dissolve really quickly - no weird texture at all. Feels incredible moisturizing and protecting while somehow still maintaining a very mid to lightweight finishing feel. Didn't realize how much of my diffused redness was due to barrier damage until I used this cream and have noticed such an improvement of overall skin tone. Do wish it was slightly more acne friendly, but for my normal to dry acne prone skin type it is well worth it and not overly clogging, especially since I'm using tretinoin and BHA, I need the moisture. Love! Please make in a bigger size!! Already repurchased twice

I’ve been using the AESTURA ATOBARRIER365 Cream for a while now, and it’s one of the best ceramide creams I’ve tried. I LOVE the original cream. It has an immediate hydrating and soothing effect, and over time it strengthened my skin barrier so my skin retains moisture better. The 'cream PLUS' formula feels thicker and less melt-into-your-skin-er. Also it seems to irritate my sensitive skin a bit.The only difference between the OG cream and the 'cream PLUS' is the addition of bacillus ferment and myristic acid. Fermentation is the process of using microorganisms to break down organic compounds into acids & alcohols. In this case, they used a bacteria (bacillus spp) to ferment soybean proteins, resulting in peptides and antioxidants that are beneficial to the skin. Here are some of the benefits:• fermentation of soybean produces arbutin, which is an antioxidant that can cause skin lightening effects• the enzymes used in fermentation can help exfoliate the skin• when bacillus ferments, it produces bioactive peptides rich in amino acids, which help the skin retain moisture and increase collagen production• the peptides can help strengthen the skin barrier, reduce irritation, calm acne, and promote healingInterestingly, fermentation by bacillus spp produces antimicrobial peptides (AMPs), which have emerged as a promising alternative to antibiotics. I recently purchased this moisturizer after running out of my Dieux Instant Angel. I had been searching for a dupe as Instant Angel is quite expensive for the amount of product that you get and I also tend to use a lot of it. After scouring a couple of different Reddit threads, someone mentioned this moisturizer and given its ease of access to purchase (Amazon, as opposed to brand website or Sephora) and relatively low price, I decided it was worth a try. I’ve been using it now for about 2 weeks including while I was traveling to a city with extremely hard water AND via plane which always dries me out and wow, I truly cannot believe how this moisturizer has transformed my skin. Usually I combine my moisturizer with several serums and oils to keep my skin hydrated and plump but I actually find that this moisturizer alone hydrates my skin and KEEPS it hydrated far better than any combo i’ve used in the past. I can’t get over how soft my skin is since i’ve started using this. I also have a small amount of redness in my skin that tends to come out when it’s dry and that has completely subsided since using this moisturizer. You’ve got yourself a loyal fan, Aestura!
