Q: Are theses really scratch and shatter resident? I have another pair of Maui that I have shattered the lens twice

Aloha! Thank you for your question! The Equator style features our SuperThin Glass lens material. This material is the most scratch-resistant out of all the materials we offer but it is the least shatter-resistant. Since they're a full frame style, they should be more resistant, but if crushed or some drops may cause damage to the lenses if the impact is great enough. Should you need any repairs for your sunglasses, we do offer repairs on our authentic non-prescription sunglasses directly.
