Very impressed. Didn’t even peel the garlic clove and it squashed through no bother. I have fibromyalgia therefore weak and sore arms and hands and I could do it no problem. So easy to clean. I used to have the more expensive version of the oxo garlic crusher but moved and lost it. This is just as good. Squashes the garlic into nice tiny smoosh. So happy.

Best garlic chopper! Tried a few off brands.. no one compares to the OXO design. Super efficient- chopps the garlic very fine, very easy to operate, and very easy to clean (dishwasher safe).

This is an OXO product so quality as expected is excellent and feels solid and robust when using. Crushes garlic quickly, efficiently and with easy with little waste ie you get most of the garlic being produced. My only gripe is it’s quite awkward to clean as the ‘basket’ isn’t removable and held in place as part of the hinge. It’s not a dealbreaker as the tool is excellent but a removable basket to make cleaning easier would have been useful.

I love OXO grip products as I have arthritis in my hands. This garlic press is top quality, well designed and solidly made but easy to use and clean. Competitively priced on Amazon it beats other options for price, quality and ease of use.

I’ve had a few different garlic crushing devices over the years and they’ve always seemed to be a bit too much like hard work. They either require all of the peel to be removed from the garlic cloves or need a lot of force to crush the garlic effectively. This OXO Good Grips garlic press is the best garlic crushing tool that I’ve used. It isn’t the cheapest but the slightly higher price is worth it for its ability to get the most out of each garlic clove. It isn’t necessary to remove all of the skin from garlic cloves and it’s possible to fit two smaller cloves into the press. As with other products in this range, the grips are chunky and rubber and accordingly easy to grip in larger hands. These grips give a good crushing action and the product seems quite robust. The press is easy to keep clean by washing in soapy water or can be put in the dishwasher. I have yet to find a garlic crusher that works better than this and consider it well worth the asking price. Thoroughly recommended.

From all the garlic pressers I have tried, this would be the second best. Still requires some effort but gets the job done. I haven't tried it with the garlic peels. Washing it after use, doesn't take time either.

Ich benutze diese Knoblauchpresse seit 2020 mehrmals woechentlich und sie ist nach wie vor in top Zustand. Ich habe heute noch eine als backup bestellt da ich Angst habe, dass dieses Modell in der gleichen Qualitaet irgendwann nicht mehr erhaeltlich ist. Ich reinige sie stets per Hand und nicht in der Spuelmaschine, presse nur Knoblauch damit (dazu ist sie ja auch da), und zerkratze die Seite an der der Knoblauch herausgepresst wird nicht mit scharfen Gegenstaenden sonder nehme entweder die Rueckseite eines Messers oder einen Spachtel. Mit guter Pflege ist dies eine zuverlaessige, hervorragend verarbeitete Knoblauchpresse die auch mit stabilem Gewicht sehr gut in der Hand liegt, und sich sehr leicht reinigen laesst. Wir sind vollauf zufrieden.

Pensavo che gli spremiaglio avessero le caratteristiche della mia ex pinza, datata decenni, ormai: e cioè, che fossero non lavabili in lavastoviglie e soprattutto causanti fastidi alle dita e al polso della mano utilizzata per stringere le pinze. Ho voluto provare questo spremiaglio, catturato dal design, e non molto curando le recensioni sul suo (supposto) ottimo funzionamento. Al momento, dopo averlo provato, direi che è uno degli acquisti su Amazon che mi ha dato maggior soddisfazione. Non soltanto è davvero uno strumento molto bello, costruito perfettamente, in acciaio, facilissimamente lavabile (senza permanenza di odori - e non capisco ancora come faccia) con un colpo di spugna e acqua calda (oltre che in lavastoviglie); ma la sua forma, "bombata" nei manici, facilita la spremitura, richiedendo minor forza. Ovviamente, il residuo dell'aglio spremuto va tranquillamente aggiunto al trito di aglio, con un apprezzabile guadagno in termini di spreco. Da acquistare. Arrivato puntualissimo.
