This is a genius idea. Imagine all of the folders children have to take back and forth to school. This cancels out the 4-6 folders you have to buy. There are 8 pockets. One for every content area and even specials classes. The front of the folder allows you to place an insert so you can personalize it as well.

It is hard to get an average piece of paper into the cover, so if you have to set up a large quantity of these at a time, such as for a workshop; the Globe-Weis 10-pocket organizer is just as difficult to put a front cover in this one is, and cheaper as of this date. They are both very nice. One with a spiral would lie flatter when opened.The spiral on this one is kind of large so you could probably add a lot of papers. The Globe Weis one would be easier to file because it has a narrow spine you could label. The poly cover and folders with spiral binding make it a great organizer. I've purchased about 10. How I use them:1. Store medical visit info and bills.2. Organize reference materials for my job that I keep on my desk.3. Organize and document event plans. Recipes with quantity conversions. Buffet service placement charts. To do lists. Assignment sheets. Receipts.4. School paper momentos.5. Greeting cards.I'll keep buying them!

positive: closes over with velcro, keeps in papers neatly, kind of professional looking in black. clear half pockets inside hold at least 10 pages each, allow you to see thru pocket to see what it is, also to leaf thru pages quickly. others have angled pockets that are awkward to use. negative: spiral seems a bit sloppy, hope it holds up to my light use. price jumped alot after i bought this one, so waiting to get more, costs too much now. erratic prices at amazon nothing new.

Sounds silly, but this is amazing. I've been looking for something like this for about five years. First, unexpected, but the outer shell is hard plastic, not cardboard. The inner pockets are durable and fit a full sheet of paper with ease. I've been lugging around a binder with multiple folders in it for years...inevitably, pages never fit quite right due to the binder holes, that is not the case with this. Also, because of the spiral, the folders can be open and flat to what ever section you want. There is also a elastic strap to keep the cover closed. I couldn't be happier and am tempted to buy another one in case this one breaks in a few years and it's no longer in production.

it's silly how much I love this thing. I LIVE in it. I'm a college teacher, and it helps me keep all my classes straight. It LOOKS nice, the hard plastic is excellent. I usually tuck a pen into the spiral and go around campus to meetings and classes with just this in my hand. I have all the documents I need right at hand. I've been using it every single day for 20 months, and it is NOT showing signs of wear. I'm about to buy 3 more just to keep in storage, I will CRY when this falls apart and I can't replace it. It is one of my most important daily work tools.

I bought this because it looked functional for what I needed it for. It came very fast in the mail, although half of the spiral is flat so I’m unable to open and close.. and I only took off one star bc It probably happened in the mail.

I always use these for hauling papers around that need to be graded. I've had the same ones for seven years and just ordered a new one. These are the bomb!

Great quality,Like other ratings have said, can be hard to get paper in front window.Also note that until you start filling it up, pages in the colored folders may fall out if you are not careful. The folders on the inside are clear, which is great.And the only reason I didn't give it five stars is because you could not choose the color. Purple for a male in university was not my favorite, but it will have to do.

I got it and barely used for a week before the pockets started coming out if the binder. It was downhill from there. The useless effort of trying to keep each pocket inside the binder ring is time consuming & a total waste of time. Don’t bother buying this, total waste of money.

I got the colour teal and I think this is amazing. I haven't actually used it for school yet but it feels durabil and reliable. I can't wait to use it for school and it seems really helpful. For the price it is a steal. I definable recommend this if you are looking for a compact solution on keeping your papers together for easy transport.
