QCAASolid Brass Dutch Door Bolt, 4", Brushed Satin Nickel, Made in Taiwan, 1 Pack

First I’ll tell you I thought when I bought it it was pricey for what it is but these things cost! Somehow I thought I had to have an 8’ door (I'm basically a hobbit at just over 5’) and by the time it was installed it was apparent it had a slight warp at the top of that left door. It’s really well made and weighty. We installed this and it is slowly reducing that warp as time goes by… by forcing the door straight. Its easy to push up too and looks striking besides and its a really nice security feature. If you’ve ever considered one of these Dutch bolts for those reasons go for it. You won’t be sorry.We get a whole lot of compliments too on the look.

My neighbor recommended this one. Take a look some of the latches are skinny. This one is thicker and more heavy duty for our French doors. It’s 9 ft door so the top does not shut flush. This is normal with our very humid weather. Holds tight now

It’s a cute door lock for my French door. I wish I bought it a couple inches larger but the 6 still works perfectly. I like how the attachment for the screw base is adjustable. It’s great function if your door height is a little higher. As I had issues with other locks. It holds strong on the door and ground for extra security. When locking and unlocking it did scratch a bit but it’s pretty easy to pull up and down. The color is exactly as pictured. It’s a surface lock so it’s easy to install with no help.

Beautiful & and very heavy-duty. The bolt slide is robust and will provide maximum security for my exterior, double dining room doors. I couldn't be happier. The screws are magnetic and brass finished. Being steel, they should provide another level of security.

Very beautiful and my doors are very secure now and I am very much at east now that the doors cannot budge during hurricanes. All homes that are susceptible to hurricanes should consider buying and installing these on French doors to prevent hurricane force winds from blowing them open. Best price compared to others .

Very well made and nicely polished. Machining is perfect, no rough edges, no casting marks, just perfect. Great value for money. Made in Taiwan, a country that does great work. Highly recommended!

Spring is poorly designed functionality could be better.

I ordered a few other "bolts" trying to add a pleasant lock on the inside of my front doorOther ones are literally paperweights and would not secure any door. Maybe they are meant for baby doors.This one is a nice solid piece, nice finish, comes with hardware to install different applications. Only item would be that the finish had a few small knicks on it but not very noticable.Update: after 2 months of daily use (it is installed on front door) the finish is starting to wear off. I still like the lock as in my door application the frame is hard to install another type of secondary lock which I like to have aside from the deadbolt. Would be better if more durable as I am sure in future it may wear more. Changed to 4 star instead of 5.

Ne vaut pas son prix, de loin pas. Une fois installé, on sent que la résistance n’y est pas. La barre est souple et en forçant très légèrement, on sent que ça ne tiendra pas à l’effraction.Produit de facture moyenne et pas du tout adapté à la sécurité. Juste en déco. Très déçu.

These look so nice on my French doors. Unfortunately, one does not stay locked but slides down so is really useless as a lock.
